Reefmanburger 1
Certainly slower than his T1, but most people get through T2 around that time anyway... He's probably just not rushing.
Reefmanburger 1
Anyway I'm off for a swim. Cya in an hour!
TrevS 349
I'm still here FoxyL, but speding most time collating times and spreedsheet building as new timing info becomes available. ie:splits etc. So haven't seen to much in the thread. 5mins is a little unusual for OLT, I expect a nature break. TrevS 349
I think Pete Jacobs is out. or been sitting in T2 for a long time. his speed in the last bike time check was very slow - 13km/h ?? I suspect a he has blown out. Correction. The time check no3 (144km) are not being listed, timer may have failed. therefore that 13km speed is being taken for the time from Check Point2 to Check Point4 but over the distance of CP3 to CP4 But still no T2 time. Slowman 352
macca ave 35kBenjo 32k That says it all. Must be hot and windy, the wind chops them up on the bike and the heat finishes them off on the run. These are testing conditions all right.

Kamal2 228
Don't have Spotters, but Steve Firth (Kanangra) now off the bike in 6:07. Form & OITC both sub 6. Mark, Hairy L., appears to be having a good day, also in. Form, OITC, ahead of Steve, well behind OLT. Kanangra could run them down, not OLT, but dunno how Steves feeling, tapered quite a bit last bit of the bike.
Slowman 352
normann out of energy lab and smiling I never would have picked Normann to win this ever, well I should say never would have picked him as a favourite, more of a "Bradbury" chance to win. He has a strong bike but it is in the run where guys like Reid, DeBoom, even Macca would get him, but today looks like the day for a strong cyclist who is still a good runner and didn't get knocked about by the wind. All round amazing stuff and good work to all the trannies out there (finish or not), still heroes.
Aidan 245
no Macca, Bell, Jacobs... who's the first Australian now? and Marc Herreman's just got a drafting penalty, funnily enough.
