live never seen a break like this before.

Instantly any surfer knows that's 'Wedge' and without clicking it, I knew it would be Brett Conklin, he's insane.  Check out 'Skid Kids'.

He always times it so he comes from the left hand backwash and gets a ride that links up with the main wave.

Check out Ben Gravy for some novelty wave stuff also.

This is from near my place last weekend. It’s crazy close to the rocks. They lost a jet ski a stack of boards and a bit of skin.

Not a ben gravy fan.  But job and Blair are good. Obviously making nice coin out of YouTube videos.

I not an avid fan of BG, I like his stuff when his fiance isn't in it, she annoys me with her voice. I've tried to get into JOB but the stoke count thing gets to me after a while.

My favourite is Torren Martyn films, he's very laid back but cuts some sick lines that look effortless.

There was a doco on Netflix about a Red Bull event at the Cape, it was pretty good.  I think they livestream it these days.

They only held it once, maybe twice. Was a big deal Red Bull locked off a large section of the national park and didn’t allow spectators in which pushed off a lot of people. Of course the locals knew how to sneak in. The event window they had didn’t see any great swell and the day they ended up running the event was messy and fickle. Not at its best by any stretch.
About two weeks after the circus left town it was “all time”

Was a good idea but the timing was difficult which I think is why they canned it.

Ah I hadn't realised the back story.  There was a doco on how they did it but there was so much swearing, I switched it off pretty quickly as Little One was watching.
