The DPP have behaved atrociously - I cant believe that what they call evidence was actually  unverified statements from the suspect - "shes used her credit card since" or "friends have seen her" - that police recorded as evidence - both considered reasons why they didn't prosecute. Sounds like everyone wanted to be mates with Chris and Paul cos they were top blokes so everything they said was gospel.

Listened to the entire series in a day and a bit on a tractor. Very disturbing. Really hope they get the perpetrator

Just listened to Greg Bennett’s latest with Macca, another mention of non selection for Sydney, that must be every episode

DC Rainmaker has rebooted his podcast. His co host is now gplama. Worth a listen if you are interested in techy stuff.

I went - it was good! I think Anna drank at least three glasses of wine while on stage. I'm glad they did about 45 minutes of other stuff besides the podcast - made it a bit better value.

Tim Ferris show: just finished a 2hr interview with Terry Crews. I really really enjoyed it. He is a lot more than he appears on the surface

I expect he looks on his role as President Comacho in Idiocracy as the pinnacle of his career.

Newcomer to podcasts, but have gotten into Small Town Murder.  Couple of comedians talking about deaths in various small towns (has to be under 35,000 popn to qualify).  Quite long episodes as most go a touch over 2 hours, really impressed with the amount of research they do and learnt a bit about the various legals issues, particularly around death sentences.  Mostly US towns, but have gone to Australia, Canada and UK as well for cases.  Really seems to be some dumb persons out there trying to get away with these murders, loved one episode on a murder from the early 90s when the murderer confessed when they were told the photocopy machine was a lie detector

Almost going to miss my long commutes just as I found podcasts...

Been binging on this of late. Highly recommend.

For those following the Teacher's Pet podcast, Chris Dawson has just been arrested and is expected to be charged with the murder of his wife

What a pr1ck he is!  Killed his wife, destroyed the life of the poor teenage (Jo) girl who he manipulated into being a kind of replacement wife and mother at age 17.  And of course, the two poor daughters who now have to contend with a missing mother and a murderer father.

Interesting to see the (bad) longer term effects of the teachers relationships with teenage girls and the group determined to see justice in this area also.  I wonder if we will see more arrests?

The twin brother would have to be an accessory (probably his idea, actually) - and they should dig up the back yard of his old property while they're at it

I could be wrong but didn't the other twin's missus (Paul's wife) forge some (bank?) documents in Lynne's (Chris's wife)'s handwriting AFTER she disappeared.  And the older brother HAD to have known when he represented Chris at the coroner's inquest(s).

So what they all do? Just sit around and say "Well, Chris killed Lynne, we can't do anything about that now. Let's just ignore the fact that Chris is a cold blooded murderer and pretend nothing happened..?!" WTF?!

I finally caught up and finished "My Dad Wrote a Porno". I now know who the special one is 😀. I have had to avoid social media to not spoil the last episode.

I have really been enjoying the Hamish and Andy podcast this year. I think that they were getting a bit stale with a daily radio show. But a weekly podcast, with out some of the restrictions of radio, is very funny.

Listened to all episodes (17 in total I think ) over 2 days in the car to SA & back.

I can;t believe some of the fundamental mistakes made since she disappeared. Police, DPP, dept of Education.

Will be interesting to see what comes from the group of former students who are starting to gain momentum / voice around the actions of teachers way back then.

if you have even the slightest interest in your health and the state of the medical system world wide :

https://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/the-recommended-dose-with-ray-moynihan/id1296082205?mt=2

..........

It may sound a little dry and there aren't too many laughs but It will make you think twice when your doctor recommends the latest drug for whatever condition you suffer.  Also some excellent info on how to navigate the maze of health info out there.

although i haven't listened to it yet, only downloaded, there is a new one on the Madelaine Mcann case which is meant to be pretty good.

Do they find her or the person that did it?

If not, pretty pointless as there is no end.

I think that not knowing who did it is part of the attraction of true crime podcasts.

One of the most successful podcasts "Serial" examined if the corrected person was locked up.

"Making a Murderer", particularity season 2 is about who did the framing and who might have done the murder. BTW I do not think that he was framed.

I Catch Killers- Gary Jubelin interviews Homicide D's

I can vouch for this. The first episode isn’t real great (great stories but I thought the bloke ie Jubeins partner, came accross as a bit of a dick). The rest is very good.
