Tyno 2,403
Conditions are pretty good, it's just that shore dump to look out for as far as I could tell. I hadn't noticed the lack of visor, but I'm sure the expo gets smaller and smaller each year.

pieman 1,186
Mootri has been slowing dying for the past few years. It's way too expensive And yet Noosa keeps growing... Numbers have been declining for last 4 to 5 years.. hasn't sold out in that period..

goughy 3,730
Noosa has the history here. I love mool, and could afford it when I had free accom. I loved watching the itu go round, though less so as a sprint distance.

Tyno 2,403
I made it. 3:16.13 Not quite a positive bike run split, but only because the bike was slow. Or, more specifically, the bloke on the bike was slow. Thanks to Fozzy for the cheer along.

iFoz 466
2:37 I'm ok with that. Reflective of my training quality in the past six months. Some serious work needed for Port. I can't wait to get back to riding my real bike on real roads. Loved the ride today. Ride like there's no run was the plan. While not a fast bike time the increased effort was reflected in a slow run. So I guess mission accomplished. Perfect conditions. Mooloolaba at its best. You're welcome Tyno. My Tranny hat and bum bib didn't get a single shout out. Have Trannies gone back in the closet? (Tapatalk)

trifun 446
I didn't go this year - I have done about 10 USM/WTC Mooloolaba's + the previous QSTS Mooloolaba twice (that one was fun ): OD is my "thing", had free accom' as younger son just relocated to Sippy Downs, it's just over 2 hours from home. BUT it is too expensive, I always feel like mere rent-a-crowd for the ITU event, the event was designed from the outset as media friendly (camera angles and technical) over athlete friendly (safe, fair, fun) - as one of the original race committee explained as he lectured me on event organisation (Mool v HBT). Keithh 25
I raced today, it was a good event as always. My run was a run/walk due to Achilles issues but I enjoyed it anyway. I'll be back, it's more accessible, less expensive and the run course is nicer than Noosa.
hacq1 348
Yup all done....2.12 off very limited training due to injury so I'll take that. First time doing Mool OD and liked it, will def go back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

goughy 3,730
We paid for the early start. It was a good idea. Yep, did that for Mool and Noosa each time (wanted to race with mates anyway). Worth the extra dollars, and that's coming from me the scrooge!
trickle 109
My First Mooloolaba and only my second OD race.2:30 was my goal and finished with a 2:29, Port training appears to be coming along well. Having raced Noosa for my first time last year and Mooloolaba this year, I preferred the Mooloolaba bike over Noosa but the Mooloolaba run was shit!!! I think I’ll be back to have another go.
