Mostly in the media, whenever you hear whining about how bad the political discourse has become

Trump did not create the political divide.  He is a response to it

So you mean this thread!!

I just had a chuckle over Trump 2019 Medical report.

Apparently we have something in common.  We're both 193cm tall and weight 110kg.

I just can't work out why his gut is so much bigger than mine.

I can't get over the apparent callousness of this.

Healthcare workers dealing with infected people have a lot of PPE on, and distance etc. He jumps in a car in a  confined space, with a basic mask only.   So essentially almost accepting everyone in the car will also get it.  Unbelievable.

Not saying it’s not true, but I’m just putting this out there. Was it a decoy/lookalike in the car. Who knows what Trump would do to downplay his illness 😂

Trumps message is clear: Do not be afraid of the virus

(provided you have access to a team of ten doctors and experimental drugs)

Does raise a few questions though-if a 74 year old can bounce back so quickly what drugs was he on and why/when will they be available to general public? Or, does it further suggest the virus really is mainly a threat to already compromised people?

I said to someone the other day.

trump is active.

had access to medical

caught the virus infection early

isn’t laying in an aged care centre waiting to die.

he was always going to be okay.

boris survived and he is way worse off health wise compared to Trump.

side note.  I don’t believe for a second he faked it, but I do believe that the Mrs didn’t have it. And what about his youngest son?  Nothing of him.

Kind of counters Biden's narrative that nobody should take treatments developed under Trump 'because you can't trust Trump' if Trump took them himself and recovered

Which is why the fake news media is having an aneurysm about Trump taking his mask off while standing alone on his balcony

That’s not true IJ.

I don’t know about the aneurysm, but both the live feed and video I just watched clearly show an unmasked Trump mingling in close proximity with 4 others at the balcony doors before stepping back out on the balcony alone to reshoot his return to the White House. That’s what’s causing the drama, not standing alone on the balcony.

Who were the four you speak of?

Were they masked?

Should Trump be charged with attempted murder?

Not sure, they’re all wearing suits.

You can see the faces of 2 and they definitely aren’t wearing masks.

I think everyone that followed Trump closely since 2016 knows he’ll eventually be charged with something but it won’t be for not wearing his mask.

☹️ Paywall ... but if the headline is accurate the pressure on Biden in the last 2 debates has just quadrupled.

Trump backed into a corner with nothing to loose... scary thought

The VP debate tomorrow will be a much better indicator of the differences in policy and ideology between the two parties

Which is why I'm predicting that Pence will utterly destroy Harris

He seems extremely healthy for someone who just had Rona and is morbidly unhealthy as the fake news always tell us. Heck the fake news was telling us just two days ago basically he was on deaths door...?

So...are the new drugs he was on super effective (hope so), is  the Rona really only a problem for people with existing health issues, or did he never really have Rona and this was all a ploy? So many questions...

Steroids really do give you a boost. As we have seen in many sporting arenas. Many doctors have been saying that Covid effects kicks in after 7-10 days. We will see.

Doctor Trump seems to have regained his healthy orange glow.

Why do people keep quoting the 7-10 days thing?

i know 2 people I the uk who got it and both were fine after 3 days rest.

and when I say rest, they didn’t exercise for 3 days and stayed home.

and then a guy at work tested positive and didn’t even have symptoms and so no impact 7-10 days for him.

people need to stop believing the spin in the news.  Ask someone close that’s had it. Not something your read.

I think what I've read from experts (Norman Swan etc), IF you are going to have a bad reaction, it will most likely come after the 7-10 day period.

If you get through 7-10 days OK, you will likely be ok.

But at 3 days, it could be fine, or get worse still.

But there are no hard and fast rules, like most viruses - even those we know something about

Okay, homework done....

I just talked to a work colleague about a family member:

    10-Sep: tested positive

16-Sep: breathing difficulties, taken to hospital, on low oxygen

    26-Sep: on high oxygen

    03-Oct: ICU, on ventilator

    08-Oct: Still on ventilator

Thats a full month.... Sounds like an anomaly to me. Certainly doesn't fit the 7-10 days scenario.
