The Redcliffe Tri Club is holding another duathlon at Lakeside and everyone is invited. Last year was a great race and we received lots of good feedback. Changes for this year are we are having the first run a little longer so hopefully the first bike will not be as crowded and for the longer race each bike will be four laps, not three like last year.

Plus, to make the racing a bit more interesting, there will be $20 primes for the male and female who is leading at the end of each leg. To make it even more exciting these primes will compound for consecutive legs which are won, so for one leg it will be $20, for two legs in a row it will be $50, for three legs in a row it will be $90, for four legs in a row it will be $140 and if you lead every five legs you will win $200 plus the $400 prize money for first place.

What do you think of the Primes idea and winning more prize money the more primes you win in a row? Am I making myself clear or do I only know what I'm talking about?

Hope all the Qld and northern NSW Trannies can make it.

Yes, July 14th. We are really at the mercy of Qld Raceways as to when they can give us the track for a fee we can afford. Sorry you cannot make it again. You should join RTC and then we could select the date for next year together

Just over 2 weeks to go and this is shaping up to be another great race.

The two events are timed so each parent can do a race each and have time between races to hand the children over.

And bikes can be racked and removed between races

Tomorrow is shaping up to be a great day in SE Qld to have a ride and run. Would be better to be riding and running around Lakeside International Raceway. Online entries close at 4pm today, but if you want to enter at the track, tell the girls at rego I said you do not need to pay the late entry fee. There will be heaps of prizes given out by our sponsors ASICS, Avanti Plus the Valley, The Run Inn, Endura and Beet It shots. Hope to see lots of Trannies there.

Got a huge Gaz and Niko session planned for tomorrow. ;)

The only thing huge about your sessions is your gut.

As long as it's beer she'll be there.

Damn straight, son! Edited by clarkey

A great race today. Thanks James and Redcliffe Tri Club for putting on awesome and challenging course. Some of the winners walked away with some nice pocket money. Hopefully there will be another soon.

Thanks James for everything you did for this race as well as everyone else who contributed.

It was a great morning with some perfect conditions for racing. A great relaxed morning and thanks to Toby Coote and several SCTA members for coming down to race as well as other clubs from across SEQ.
