  3. The 21st Sparke Helmore NBN Triathlon is on again 14-16 March. It's been the starting point for most local triathletes and now has a whole swag of events over 3 days. Friday night is the Foreshore5, a groovey 2.5km hot dog course held just near Nobby's Beach. The race gets a good crowd of around 500 runners and makes for a interesting start to the weekend. Saturday has the ladies up for a Womens Only Tri with an achieveable 300m swim, 10km ride and 3km run.   4. The bcu Coffs TRI is on again on the weekend of 1st & 2nd March, 2014. The multisport festival includes an Enticer event (375m/10k/2.5k) and Kids races on the Saturday, and the Olympic Distance Tri on the Sunday. The ocean swim is held inside the protected harbour, the 2-lap cycle is on a closed road and the run is along the Coffs Jetty foreshores. It's a great weekend of events for the whole family.
