The Kona Lottery and Legacy Program launched on Nov. 1, 2011, giving athletes the opportunity to win coveted entries into the 2012 Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i, on Oct. 13, 2012. Due to a large number of athletes being unaware of yesterday's Kona Lottery entry deadline, the entry deadline has been extended to Friday, March 9, 2012, at midnight ET. Not sure if posted, something on IM talk re their interview with the WTC head honcho. From what I can gather from twits, lottery or spots or some advantage for 12 time finishers?? Won't be able to listen to the podcast until tonight so does anybody know yet??
