  1. As I will be temporarily relocated to Melbourne from Europe (the Netherlands) from September to December, I am looking into entering the Ironman 70.3 Western Sydney. However, as I will only be bringing my road bike with me from Europe (and to safe me from the hassle of taking the bike with me on my flight), I am looking into renting a triathlon bike somewhere in Sydney. Is there anyone who can recommend me a place?

    Tapering advice

Hi all. Just new to the site. I am training for Busselton 70.3 and am a little unsure about how much/how little to do in the last two weeks. My training has been pretty consistent over the past 16 weeks. Around 200-300km cycling per week, 30-40km running and 10-15km swimming. Any advice for the last two weeks would be appreciated. Want to got to the day feeling fresh, but don't want to slack off to much! Thanks
  3. Hi All thoughts on Yeppoon and Canberra 70.3 finishing up and the current lack off long distance tri's in NSW. Apart from Husky, Bateman's Bay and Forster long course , the country's biggest population still will have a limited no of these type of events. http://firstoffthebike.com/news-and-features/a-new-ironman-70-3-coming-to-australia/ Also where do you reckon the new event will be? Looking perhaps to take on Challenge because of the above events ? cheers Tritragic
  4. Sold out - oversubscribed. No waiting list. Sorry for those leaving it late to enter; congrats to those 1500 plus age groupers, 26 pros (seven internationals) and 42 teams meaning right now there's over 1600 athletes making a record entry to race in the nation's capital come December. Safe Training to all!

  7. Quick heads up for all Trannies that the inaugural Ironman 70.3 Canberra (Half Ironman number 11 in the ACT) is now 90% full and is expected to fill in early September or earlier.
