Noticed some idle speculation about Winter Fish: http://forums.transitions.org.au/index.php?showtopic=60616&page=26 I think my tally would've been pretty much none, had I noticed there was a contest, which I didn't. I also don't know how the spreadsheet bit is done. But in any event, by my reckoning it's actually Winter in the morning. Yes... tomorrow. And I'm well prepared, because I have a front bum and am struggling to get at my shoelaces. Which means something has to be done. For personal reasons I need to get cracking a lot quicker than July. Got on the bike this morning for the first time since Cairns and brrrr it was cold! I have some pretty decent winter gear but one thing that has always been hit and miss for me are shoe covers. I must've gone through 3 or 4 pairs and they all broke down for different reasons. The latest one was a Castelli waterproof that seemed to be warm enough but it was a very snug fit and the zip snapped after about a month's use. Currently have a Gore one but that's probably more a shoe cover for time trials than something to keep my feet warm. I've been looking around and can't make a dec
