  1. I'm planning on a 10km swim at Enoggera Reservoir on Xmas Eve. It will take me past my distance target for the year with a week to spare. If anybody is interested in coming along, there are plenty of options. I'll probably be doing 3 x 3.3km loops (+100m), but could always be talked into doing a couple of shorter loops instead of one of the long ones if that suits. I'm starting around 5am, but will be looping through at 6am & 7am, to finish around 8am. Plenty of trail running or Mtn biking to jump into as you get out of the water, or we can head back to The Gap for Bacon & Eggs.
  2. Is anybody interested in an OW swim at Enoggera Reservoir on Christmas Eve (this Saturday)? I'm past the Christmas 100 x 100 days, so figured I'd just go out & swim it in one hit in the dam. I intend to head off at 4:30am (I need to finish at a reasonable hour so I can start my Xmas shopping and get it finished early enough to have a few drinks in the afternoon). Don't worry though, I'll be lapping on the hour, so anybody wishing to come along for a swim at 5:30 or 6:30 would be welcomed. After the swim we can head back to The Gap or Ashgrove for a coffee/tea, and some bacon.
  3. I know we all sprang into action the second spring sprung, so here's a chance to measure your current level of awesomeness. Choose whatever scale of awesomeness you like, 0 - Jimbo or 0 - Bacon are just 2 examples. Then, confirm your current level of awesomeness by running 10 km. Brisbane folk, there are 2 BRRC events with 10 km options in October - http://brisbaneroadrunners.org/wp/events/2016-10/ I'll drag myself along on Sunday for somewhere around 58 min I think. Sydney folk, there is one SMC 10 km option - http://www.sydneymarathonclinic.org.au/event-calendar/ There is also a

  5. Sydney Marathon Clinic Road Race Series 2012-13 New course. New on day presentation format New multi race bib timing tags with name on bib. With the days counting down and the interest increasing it is time to start a fresh 2012-13 thread where all questions can get asked, hopefully answered and the sledging can continue. All previous participants would by now have seen the email sent by Nic. I will just go through the key changes for the series here. If in doubt about anything, or for more detail on the below, please check our website. The first race is on Sunday 21st Octobe
