Hi folks, I'm looking at getting a new set of wheels for my SS MTB as the existing rear hub and both rims are pretty shot. I'm leaning towards a White Industries ENO rear hub, and my existing front hub is a Chris King that still has plenty of life left in it. Anyway just wanted to get some advice on where to get it done (in Sydney) and how much getting a set of wheels built up will be? Cheers and thanks Chuck

My place is after a Broadcast Engineer and an IT Support Engineer You can see the details here

Probably this one I'd guess: http://www.sydneykneeboardclub.com/ Click on the pic, then on the History tab...

Good to see the trawl has unearthed a few members of the club - and even a bit of bagging from Slowman!! Funny you should also mention new boards, MMW - I'm still surfing my original custom Friar Tuck from 1979 (the first custom board I ever got!) but just recently picked up a new 6'2" Tuck off eBay... two boards built (almost) 30 years apart!

I’ve been surfing heaps lately, in particular on my kneeboard when the surf has been half decent (which has meant I’ve also spent a lot of time on the mal!). Anyway, I know there’s a couple of kneeboarders here - Flanno and MMW (whose status in the world of cripples is rightfully right up there as one of the best during the late 70s/early 80s) – but I can barely remember the last time I saw another out in the lineup. I reckon you’d be hard pressed to find a kneelo under 40 these days. The kiddies are all floating around on esky lids and shops selling kneeboards are few and far between (Ja

Here's another favourite from one of those Very Special Christmas collections... Run DMC in da house...

Nice one Yurtie - indeed a true classic! My favourite is a Christmas collection that the Brian Setzer Orchestra put together. It's called Boogie Woogie Christmas from memory.

This thread brings back memories of a flight I did from Boston to NY a few years back - it was on one of those smaller planes. We've almost finished boarding and the plane is practically full, when an really huge woman comes down the aisle... and I start getting nervous about the vacant seat next to me. Yep, she gets to my row of two and wedges herself in next to me (she was probably well over 150kg I reckon). Between her and me (6'4"/94kg) it was a mighty row. Anyway, what amazed me was that she was too big for the seatbelt - and the flight attendants made no attempt to ensure that she strapp

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery FP. Btw, I bought a Triumph Tiger about 6 months ago and I love it. I didn't go with the hard luggage as it's just too small (certainly compared with the BMW hardshells I had when I had my R1100R) so I've gone with soft Ventura bags. Let me know if you'd like to try it one day.

A nice old school basketball one...

Brilliant! I was there on that night too. I reckon 75% of the crowd was male and over 35 (maybe 40) and a huge proportion of poms!

Where was the article - wouldn't mind seeing what Tony "the darkroom nudist" Nolan is up to!

Nice one Flanno - as I'm typing wondering where songs have gone, you're posting a song...genius!

Ah, memories of the first ever "pig" run at lunchtime in Sydney when half a dozen of us met at the assigned place on Macquarie St with no idea what any of us looked like... still a traditional Trannie activity at races I guess... And it's been a while since a Kamahl "song"...
