  1. I had that problem. Turns out when my phone did an update, it changed the setting in the camera that allowed it to recognise QR codes. I turned it back on and all good. Android (Samsung S10). Open the camera, go to settings, "intelligent features", 4th option to turn on/off - "scan QR codes". I don't have the ServiceNSW ap on that phone. But take a photo of a QR code and it goes online. (I don't go out much, and have it on my work phone)

  4. Just up the road here. Only recorded act of Piracy on inland waters. Surely thats worth a gernsey. http://www.tolarnostation.com.au/history.html Piracy and burning woolshed In 1894, the price of wool dropped and, as the pastoralists sought to drop shearing salaries, a shearers strike commenced. In an effort to maintain a operating woolshed, Chaffey sent the Rodney paddle steamer to Wentworth to collect 50 non-union shearers. On the evening of the 26 August 1894, whilst the Rodney was moored at Moorara Station (45km downstream of Tolarno Station), Tolar

If my asthma is considered an undelying condition, then I'll be a 1B. Otherwise, a 2B. OR......... will a higher BMI be considered n underlying edical condition? So those obese and overweight will get a 1B? I'm admittedly over in the BMI department. And don't they say a vast majority of the population is?

so basically, a good chunk of the economy running workforce will be last off the list. How about priority for those occupations that are shut down when States lockdown commercial activity because of a few cases?
  9. and 1 is better than none. But he had already done his trip, after going to the BWS on Christmas Eve. He made his trip a week later. Got the text and got tested when he got home. (speaking of the trip, it sounds super-dodgy. A teenager does a 2 day camping trip that involves driving from Sydney to Orange, Nyngan, Broken Hill, covering at least 2500kms, with only 1 caravan park for 6 hours to midnight, 1 petrol station, and 2 gournet cafes listed?? Something fishy there) The times for the Berala exposure was 21/12 - NYE? A week later, everyone identified should have be
  10. I'd like to see though the numbers of actual transmission. IIRC the principle of the ap was it logged duration of proximity to another ap. This was because of the transmission risk being related to duration of proximity. The large numbers of locations and times they are flagging now, which is bringing up thousands of possible contacts and requiring people to isolate is irrespective of duration of proximity to another individual - rather their "occurrence" at a location where a case had "been" during a time period. I'd like to see how many of those that this new method (using

I believe thats due to the normal "process" and funding restrictions. In most cases where there is less global urgency, a company must get funding for step 1, complete step 1, evaluate step 1. Write a proposal for step 2, wait fo funding to happen, start spet 2, implement step 2 etc. In this case, countries threw billions at this saying just do all your steps as fast as you can - you don't need to wait for one to get funding for 2. So they could have multiple tasks running simultaneously. But they still did all the necessary steps and trials/evaluations. Saying that,
  12. Only because I'm a TO so only had to pay club component. Otherwise, I wouldn't have. With no local races, and no gaurantees of being able to travel to interstate ones I wasn't going to take the gamble. I'd like to support TA, but they're not a charity, and I'm not rich enough to throw money at others for no return. The main selling point is "insurance" while training. With no events, I'm not training", so I'd be skeptical they'd pay anything. With no events I can TO at (I'm with TriSA, live in Vic. Can't race, and border closures mean I can't commit to anyhting) likely

So the reverse is true then also. If they have an appropriate support crew, as she would, then it isn't up to the Premier as a solo effort day in day out. They are the face of the health advice and public servants. They make decisions yes, but fully informed. The support crew need a break too. The standing will just be that - a stand in face

I agree she needs a break like the rest of us. But given the brink they think they could be on, with xmas, NY and the cricket as potential superspreading events, the timing of that fallout (if any), and the newly implemented mandatory masks, I would have thought the timing might not be the best.

NSW keep going on about how good their ocntact tracing is. Have they managed to pin down the source of the NB cluster yet? That is the source of Vic and other clusters.

from what I read, before is 14 days and test at home. After is 14 days hotel quarantine. Info to come on how we will manage in border regions,. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-12-31/victoria-coronavirus-nye-restrictions-announced-melbourne-cases/13023362 "Those who arrive in the 24 hours before the border closes will still need to take a test and go into quarantine for 14 days, she said." "She said Victorians who arrived back from NSW after the border closure would need to go into hotel quarantine."
