  2. I can’t remember anything- the whole day is a complete blank. But I think my days of descending fast are over. The consequences of something going wrong are just too much to risk. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to predict the winner of cyclist vs car in a head-on collision! if I was a cat I’d be on my ninth life - no more risk taking for me 😬

  3. A big thank you to who ever is paying for the Transitions website and keeping it updated. I value the information and interactions that I have on here. A huge thank you to the moderators on the site also. Being forced to read every comment on here must be time consuming and exhausting. Happy New Year. Шинэ жилийн мэнд хүргэе

  6. Edit: I realise tha is that your current trainer. In which case yes, just getting away from wheel on trainers is a big leap I imagine. I will never ever go back to wheel on again.

  7. Everybody is always talking about dry January. I don't drink (or extremely rarely), and I have 10 hours of interviewing candidates in my first week back at work. I'm considering getting smashed all month. 🍺

  8. And they might get the 4th test yet, if the Indian Cricket authorities don't agree with Queensland's requirements. I don't know what AP is working about? I mean, it's not like any of the Indian players would break their covid rules.......

  9. 5km benchmark run. In Rincon 2s and a long sleeved top, so hopefully room for improvement. 1:21 slower than my 3yr old post surgery PB. Given I’m 3yrs older and 8kgs heavier, I’ll take it.

  10. I concur. I haven't done a tri since 2011 and last run 18 months ago. But having been here since the beginning in the OzChat days (1999), I have really appreciated the info, advice and support on a variety of matters (sporting and non sporting).

  11. Hey everyone thanks for your good wishes. I am back at home now and prognosis is 100% recovery in 3 to 4 months. In the meantime I gotta say, I am doing it pretty tough stuck in a halo thoracic brace and on medication. It’s quite a fashion statement...... I can’t play the guitar Dave- left hand is a bit farked up but hoping to do so again in the not too distant future. once again thanks everyone- my goal is olly distance at Shep this season - wish me luck!!
