  1. Yep Jamis Renegade Escapade. Its good maybe the reynolds 631 was not as good as a carbon at soaking up the bumps, but todays ride was epicly hard so not sure it would have mattered

  3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-49945052 Trump's Aberdeenshire golf resort has been posting at least £1million annual losses every single year since it opened it 2012. Trump promised to spend £1billion and create 6,000 jobs developing the golf course. There are currently only 77 people employed by the business and falling year by year. The council has recently approved plans for Trump's second Aberdeenshire course as well as 550 new homes. Catch is, the residents don't want it and won't support anything branded 'Trump' explaining why the fi

  8. Might be worth considering this is not a football trophy, the award is more subtle than that: In 1974, Yasser Arafat addressed the UN General Assembly. He said he was holding an olive branch for peace in one hand and a freedom fighter's pistol in the other. Twenty years later he and the Israeli leaders Peres and Rabin received the Peace Prize for having opted for the olive branch by signing the so-called Oslo Accords in Washington. The agreement was aimed at reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians. Peres, Rabin and Arafat were all recognized for the choice they made, regardl

  15. To put air in just same as with tube. To put sealant in, yes either remove valve core or unseat tire from rim. I do valve core. Top up sealant using syringe or bottle with thin nose and squeeze in. I have a small plastic tool that works okay, or use one on my multi tool. A pair of needle nose pliers works.

  21. Why is it an unfair advantage? Should folk that don't work 40 hours a week have to go in a different category than those who do? No, you shouldn't be able to chop and change depending on the race & the field, but there should be nothing stopping a pro racing AG once they decide they've had enough of pro racing. Maybe a ruling that says if you have a pro licence you can't race AG, and once you hand it back and race AG, you can't get it again for a year.

  22. No. I actually work for a company that would do a lot better if it was never rolled out. But I believe it should be.

  23. Agree there should be ‘open’ for going up but going back to AG should be zero issue. I work circa. 40hr/week but just race in pro field, what diff. would it be if I went back and won 25-29? (not saying I would win, but you get the point)

  24. I'm lucky, I can see the mobile phone tower so can use that, but my ADSL is around 3Mb/s. There are people in our area less than 30km from the CBD that can't get ADSL, can't get NBN, and get no mobile signal. I thought the NBN was supposed to fix all that?

  25. I don't know, maybe a decent fibre based broadband scheme for Australia? That way a lot of people can actually do their work from home. A lot of the work to build that is semi/low skilled.

  26. Ha ha. Wouldn't that be something 😂 I think there were even some detailed plans for that somewhere? Never happening under Dan.

  27. I have a carzy idea, a road that links the east and the west... was all ready to go and has already cost us $1B lol should be able to whip the ole plans out and get cracking quick smart

  28. Are you calling me non credible 😉 It's textbook, sure, but needs to be practical. You need to actually have something to build. In Vic we are out of big ideas that aren't crazy right now. Not to mention what we are building is all slipping behind or in disputes. Plus it takes years to get a big project off the ground. Will be too late. Hopefully they invest billions in all the really important stuff they keep ignoring. The non exciting, but high value stuff. Plenty to do. How about a billions in public housing and road maintenance/upgrades.

  29. Jeez, all those crap races over the years really catch up with you 😂. I’m in for first long course race/first proper race in nearly two years. Unfortunately battling an unknown groin issue, but given this + cairns will be only races till next year am going to have a go regardless. Lots changed in last two years, now being self employed and working full-time as opposed to working ‘easy’ part-time jobs, so will be out there enjoying the day and the challenge regardless of result

  30. I was diagnosed as a toddler ~40 years ago. Was hard for my mum back then as Gluten free food wasn’t really a thing, especially in Tasmania. When I started eating solids, I was fed weetbix, Toast etc and ended up with severe malnutrition etc. I was in hospital in Tassie for a bit... where they were also feeding me food with gluten..... they couldn’t work out what was wrong. I spent 6 months in the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne until I was diagnosed. As a kid, anything I ate with Gluten in it resulted in severe vomiting and diarrhoea. I still have memories of this. My mum

  36. Feeling pretty chuffed after a great day yesterday. Every year there is a fund raising golf ambrose day in the name of my best mate who passed away 14 years ago now (it's his last road bike I'm still and will forever be riding). Anyway, I'm no standout golfer, never was, and haven't had a game in 2.5years now, so wasn't expecting much. Just like the hit out with my mates. Anyway, my group was made up of 3 of my best golfing mates from the website that mate and I started years ago, one of them being the current owner that I gave the site to. Well, bugger me if we didn't win it yesterday; e
