Ill post the link when its up It's a bit irritating, but the race (inc Nice Worlds) feeds only pop up 5mins race start, so if you can't find it on FB, don't panic, it will be there. Once I learned to not click on the first thing that says "XYZ ironman is live now" the FB access has been pretty good i think.. 1) Like/follow Ironman Now on FB. 2) On the day the first item in your feed will be some link (dont click on that as it takes you to some subscription service) 3) keep scrolling down and there will be a video playing with a little red "live" sign. This usually starts at transition time well before the start.. 4) You can also go back and watch the previous hour(s) footage if you want to via different links on this page

Kona wind speed v Queen K wind speed are vastly 2 different things. i couldn’t work out the winds there. It felt like no wind or a slight tail wind starting out on the Queen K, then mid way between Waikoloa Village and the the left turn towards Hawi it was a massive crosswind (Easterly) coming down from Mauna Kea. Going up to to Hawi it seemed like a Northerly cross wind off the top of the island, then coming home - once you get back on the Queen K it was a bloody stiff Southerly all the way home...... This was 2012. I just hope it’s a bloody hard day. These last few years have been easy.
