Vietnam 703 2019

What a line up, I initially thought it would be good to see where Tim Reed is in that field, but he's doing really well to back up like that!

Bloody hell thats 2 very strong fields. I wonder what’s attracting them - what’s the prize money like?

Asia-Pac champs (more prize $). Also, Sunrise Events look after the pros very well and Alaska milk sponsors a bunch of athletes

TECHCOMBANK IRONMAN 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship, Vietnam has a professional prize purse of $75,000 USD.

I can’t find the breakdown. You almost need a degree for Ironman.com

Glad I aren't a pro - If I came 7th in 52 consecutive 70.3....... I'd still only make about 75K. Triathlon is a hard gig unless your one of the best.

You should listen to the latest macca x podcast.

He basically says that Ironman is not a professional sport.

But short course is.

He explains it heaps better than I did.
