Training peaks

Recommended Posts

Anyone know how to get rid of this stupid graphic every time I have loaded a workout in training peaks?

Does anyone actually use it, as it seems annoying to me.

I'd say it is of most value to those who are coached and might add comments or whatever in there so coach can read it but i'd say most just skip over it...I just have TP upload automatically from Garmin connect so I have never seen that icon..

It adjusts your numbers on what you put.

For example if you put you were weak and took it easy, your fatigue would be increased slightly more than not touching it.

I get why its there but as it's bugging you, just submit a job ticket to them.

In that case. I have a question. How would training peaks interpret “fingered myself right royally  trying to hold on to the bunch”

Asking for a friend

Depends.  Did you enjoy it or not?

Bugs me too, but I didn't realise it adjusts anything based on it.  I've been just going smiley and middle ground.

It only pops up for me when I go into a workout - so if I just do it, and then look at the charts etc, I never see it.

I'll upgrade and see if I can get rid of it.

Ok I understand now that it could be a useful tool for coaches. Although, like turtle I didn’t know it can scale your workout tss.

I just find it a pain as I set my own program so know how I feel and taylor things accordingly.

I will update the app as bored suggests.

Sorry for the typos. Dropped my phone tonight and smashed the screen. Typing is iffy!

At frist I was annoyed, but I can see why it is a useful feature. It adds some more context to TSS scores and fitness curves, and thats helpful I think. Gets you thinking about how you felt during the session and then what you might be able to do to avoid feeling awful in the future. It's useful as a 'nudge'
