Could a Muslim please Private Message me

Recommended Posts

My son has some questions for his Religous Studies that require him to contact a Muslim.

He's had a few knock backs from emails due to being too busy due the Christchurch happenings. -_-

Not a Muslim but my local mosque back in the UK run open days and have said they are always happy to answer questions... I don't know where you live but if you have a mosque nearby then I'm sure the Imam would be happy to help. Good luck!

This is what I would suggest also. I think they would be happy to help out.

I could ask a bloke at work tomorrow if you're still chasing someone.

Let me know if you don't have any success, I could forward the questions on to a friend of mine. Things like that are actually her job, she's an Islamic woman's liaison officer and the ABC Radio's go to person when they require information about that community.

My friend said no worries, she'll email her answers straight to the email address you gave me.

Aaaaaah Trannies, is there anything it can't do?

It does raise the question whether we actually have any Tranny Muslims?

Why? Personally, I couldn't care less.

Oh, it doesn't matter - merely an observation.

I would hope so for the sake of the sport.  I have seen a Sydney Muslim Cycling Club around.

I remember years ago posting something on here about the "middle class* white bread" nature of triathlon. Thankfully I think over the years the sport has diversified a bit.

I would like to think that the "middle class" forward thinking type people that we generally associate with triathlon would be very accepting of diversity in the sport.

* I dont think of myself as "middle class", I'm still a little bit too much Westie-Bogan .

That doesn't surprise me at all. A couple of years ago Yasmin was awarded the "Qld Volunteer of the year" for her work helping victims of domestic violence and then went to Canberra as a finalist for Australian Vol of the Year at the Australia Day Awards. She also picked up a Churchill Scholarship recently.
