Anthem's maiden voyage

Recommended Posts

Went for 50kms of trails and fields in Hampshire last Saturday. Cracking day for Feb!  This is on the South Down Way and in June, my mate and I are doing the full 106 mile route  (Winchester to Eastbourne).

Bike went great. things to change:

Bar grips

Bar width

Saddle

I really like it so far, not sure if it was great value at full price but the 15% discount I got put it way ahead of anything else.

You going wider with the bars?

Yeah, I have some Gorilla Tape in the garage :)

I think I will take 2cm from each end. Currently they are 780mm wide and the angle at which I had to hold my wrists wasn't very comfy.  Can't image some tight tree lines at the bike park working out well either!

I just breathe in and hope for the best when the gap looks skinny :D
