I've created a Monster 👹

Wife & SIL just booked accomm for the Byron Bay Tri next May for another team effort as they loved doing Noosa as a team so much (cos they didn't nearly drown like me). Team Mighty Muppets (apt) - a name they used for many years as a female team in the South West Rocks Tri & they usually won their cat.

Never been to Byron so might as well.

See ya there

I would be interested to know what AA7 trains each week

I make it up as I go along. Not even kidding. I'm not sure how I've managed to fluke these results for all these years.

Wurf had 13mins on me on the bike leg, BUT, I had a higher top speed than him! 90.7km/h, I'll take that as a win.

Stats for you....

individuals at Noosa

5371 entrants (1002 DNS)

Therefore: 4370 starters

222 listed as DNF

43 were DQed (only four of these did not actually finish)

Leaves 4104 official individual finishers

(I took the liberty of moving my results from DNF to Finishers pending IM explaining why they moved me from finisher to DNF overnight?)

1002 DNS ??? presumably this includes everyone who with drew since last Novembers "sellout entry close"?

I'll have splits and relative places per segment latter this week.

FYI: Sent a quick note to Multisport Australia  this morning and just got this back.

HI Ron

Your number has been recorded with the drop out  clerk which IRONMAN have communicated to us that you did not complete a section of the course( I’m not sure what section its not record)

All your times have been recorded by us so I’ll reinstated your finish status for now and ask Ironman to review further

Greg

Nice service there - under an hour for the response  :):clapping:

Hey man, I didn't even walk or stop for a drink so it must be a case of mistaken identity by one of the marshals.

Couldn't have been during the run leg, that's impossible with your running style

I don’t know who leads the race when I’m not racing.

Gotta love ya kids but you kinda don’t. Haha.

Ash gentle will get the job done. Hahaha. You need to watch the second part to get this

Maybe first time ever that I've been quoted  😊

Besides Wurf’s efforts in the teams event, I noticed Pete Jacobs also had a swim in the teams (18:xx I think).
