What training did you do today...

35 min swim of being tossed around in quite angry sea. Did a couple of ‘in and outs’ for practice. I quite like swimming in rough surf but I find it hard to sight.

3:40 Zwift at Easy effort 175np 167avg power

20min trot off the Zwift. 6:30 pace. Felt like nothing 👌 which is perfect. 

 

Watching ABC Me with Mooj now 😎👌😊😊😊

90 min easy run with some stupid strong wind!!! Almost running in the spot into the big gusts. 5 pushups at each km marker.

Monday - easy run + gym heavy load

Tuesday - AM easy run and ARVO bike

Wednesday AM Run 4x2.5km with 30secs rest plus 45min spin on trainer easy.  ARVO Gym single leg focus

Thursday - AM Easy run  ARVO 90min trainer

Friday - Arvo Gym and treadmill set 6x1km (3:40/3:35/3:30/3:25/3:19/3:25) all leaving on 4mins.

Saturday 5:30am 1hr:46 run.  Some spent with a loony following me down wrong side of road.  ARVO 1HR:40 Trainer

Sunday 2hr trainer plus 32min run off bike

Saturday 90min MTB ride - does not feel like training despite HR thru roof a lot.

Today 45mins big gear session on Windtrainer into 2kms run in a freezing hurricane.

Cracked my first 40k week on my legs with no races involved.  All walking I guess, but it's something I haven't done before.

90 min surf, 25min sea swim ( choppy)

did some surfing lessons with Flipper but I fell awkwardly and have pulled something in my inner left thigh. Bugger :(

Had a run planned but just resting now. Gotta play it smart.

What do you think of Innsbruck? Had my first ride for about 4 weeks the other day and went straight into that bloody hill-sure opened up the lungs!

OMG for sure. Was an eye opener! I'm still in my first half dozen rides. Did it reverse (ccr) this morning. Not pushing too hard. 45min up, 7 down. Good times

It's OK 

I usually ride the "flat" course. I did do the UCI circuit once on Sunday and a partial backside of it. The ccw direction climb was tougher imo. 

 

Having said that, ALL my cycling efforts are easy. 😂😁 So I don't really "open up the lungs" that far 😎😉👍

I’ve done a 78km 3 ascent session up there. Av 188 watts, nearly freakin died:lol:

40 min sea swim

40 min Flipper surf session

55 min trail run.  The terrain dictated an easy pace, only covered 8.3 km but had 241mtr elevation. Lovely view of the Devon coast though 😎

80min wind trainer yesterday morning when it was -2.2 here in Port :msn-oh:
14.5k run in the arvo.

2.7k squad swim this morning.
Arvo off with a massage.😀

Got a big 3 days coming up with a bit over 7.5 hours on the wind trainer planned from tomorrow through saturday.  No actual hills but lots of strength work in the dark.

I swam for ten minutes today.......first time in like many years. Had to go to Daiso to buy cheap goggles. In BNE, again, so swam in the hotel.

Haven’t checked in for a while.....I just stopped running a few months ago.  Few tiny runs, but have absolutely no interest. On my 11th overnight trip from home this year, 9 work related, a bit over travelling......

Sharing too much training wise? Hardly.. I love hearing details of training (but can skip the shower injury stories..)  it cracks me up how you're doing way more than i was doing,  are heaps lighter and still think you're not gonna finish...
