First run since busso, 3min Run 1 min walk x 3

2 min run 1 min walk x 3

1 run 1 walk x3

and no pain - that’s a good sign in the rehab of the leg

-30 C outside, so 12k on the treadmill.

If you lived in Iowa full time, having a well appointed gym in your house would be a must.

12k run/walk/crawl yesterday. Was supposed to be doing a ride this morning with a group, but none of them turned up. Guess I will Zwift.

Managed a 14 second PB in the 1km TT yesterday. 16:58. Stoked to go under 17.

Just did a 60min run... Man I suck at running in the heat!

An early 120 of hilly shitty roads between Samford and Dayboro followed by a 2.8k swim with lots of strength work, water temp was 31 degrees.

2 hour ride cut short due to the requirement for a rescue mission. Only so many CO2 canisters we could go through before the car had to be collected and the bloke rescued. The second half of my ride was much faster than my first half though. :D

I ride 80k and it nearly killed me.

But following a few mates.

Sat. 200k bike. Mostly flat

sun 40k run. Hilly.

Tomorrow their plan I think is

100k bike and a 4K swim.

I honestly don’t know how they are even upright.

45 minute ride followed by 1hr walk with hypoxic efforts due to lack of oxygen from swearing.

Road or mtb?

Yeah so far it’s good hurt, although my “sit bones” may disagree.

its on the roadie. Giant defy and a pretty upright position. Can’t get near the drops and even the hoods is a stretch for long periods.

But hey it’s still riding (even if it is on a giant )

Happy days Roxii.

And ... Im not sure about all these people saying 'I dont like giant'.  Its like other people saying ' I dont pick my nose when driving my car.'  😉

Of course. But I meant the return trip to home. Cause I was in rescue mode. Not the car trip back. Lol

I have a road race in 3wks, 20 mile (32.18km), a few at work are doing the 10 mile option.  I was targeting 3hrs (5.30km pace) but I've just done a 26km in 2:21 @ 5.28 and there was not a lot left in the tank. eek:surrender:

Went for a run / ferry / run. Got totally lost and had left my phone at home. It's a weird experience these days to be lost! Enjoyed it a lot though, visited Cockatoo island for the first time (by accident).

Checked out my local Parkrun course. Didn't race it, just jogged around on a Sunday. Bl00dy hilly, boggy, windy course where breaking 25mins would be a major achievement!!!

140-ish km ride yesterday including Macquarie Pass

Stage 8 with K.R this morning, although I went the soft option because I was short on time.  Running later on

Same here B@W. Got my arse handed to me yesterday by the cycling guys. Just on 97 kms and over 1,000 metres of climbing through Camden, Razorback, Nattai and Burragorang lookout. Stuffed after 60 kms but hung on  - slow but got there.

Another attempt next week.

To celebrate my new found unemployed status, I decided to join the gym and schedule some fitness classes into my week.

This morning I did my first Body Attack class since I was about 30. Bloody. Hell.

Then I did a 1km swim. 200/25 hard 25 easy/200

Fitness class take 2: grit strength. Basically it's a circuit class touted to be HIIT. It was more like 6,000,000,000 squats and lunges in 30 mins.

Then I did 45 mins on zwift.

Unemployment may kill me.

So much DOMS. :crybaby:

So, I cancelled the planned training and decided on a rest day. Then I decided I actually wanted to do something and maybe a swim might shake some DOMS loose.

So much hurty, 750m in 24:26. Epic fail. One which may only be surpassed by Stikman's multilevel epic fail of a run home from work. But that's not my story to tell. :D

Rolled around London for an hour then went and did Granny Aqua Aerobics for another hour. Now it's time to batten down the hatches and stay out of the heat.

I did an FTP test last night, up 2 watts from last one just before Busso. So im happy with that considering the lack of training since December

I did London for 30mins last night. (17kms I think). When I logged in there were 5770 on Wattopia and 775 on London:lol:  It was really nice to be to actually see my avatar and not get lost in a sea of bodies.

I quite like London, especially the Box Hill/Fox Hill/Leith Hill triple.  Absolutely hate hate hate NYC.

I've noticed the same the last couple of times I've been on since the update. The bulk of people are in Watopia, leaving the streets of the other world quite empty.

If you ride as slow as me, you get to see your own avatar alot. :D
