I was defeated after the epic KOM. Once I saw the climbing was continuing, I bailed. I know, I’m soft.

When you start before you click ride, select a different course. Ie. flat

This happened to me too! The next day I found the u-turn button! Wish I had of found it earlier 🤣

It wouldn’t let me u-turn. It wasn’t available in the console thingy. :(

That’s what Stikman said. That’s why he’s not bothering training hills.

THE SUN CAME BACK TODAY! It's back after a miserable week so I had a lovely 3.3km in Prince  Alfred Park Pool and then an hour of +FTP intervals which I've done for the last three weeks going from 3 min recoveries to 2 and today was 1 minute between sets. I think I lost at least 5kg in fluids.

Bliss for the brain.

Good, keep going to the gym and build lots of heavy muscle. It will slow you down in the running for the biggest loser :) Less planking though and more dead weight lifting and boxing please ;)

Been dealing with a foot thing...  so no running and limited riding... on the upside, I've taken the opportunity to do some strength work which is brand new to me :D

30 minutes this morning on Zwift and 2km in the pool at lunch. I managed a 100 at 1:29. Before Winterfish, I think my fastest 100 was 1:42.

4km walk with the dog this afternoon after the storm.

Either gym, or a real easy swim tomorrow morning, then the blood bank.

Starting to taper and starting the roller coaster. 90 mins at 85% FTP today and then a 40min run @ 4:02s, should have been slower but I got over excited.

Only 20 minutes in the gym this morning. I woke just after 4am & thought, I may as well get up and get a good session in. Flaffed around more than normal & only got to the gym 10 minutes early, then after 20 decided I felt like shit so went to work.

At least my plasma donation went well, though blood pressure was nearly too high for the first time ever.

It says until the 14th.

Does that include the 14th?

Yup, 14th at 11:59pm PST, so I think 6pm Monday for us in Sydney.

Nothing, but I bought a new bike, with a basket (to carry my French stick and paper....)  Not been on a bike in 6 years......aiming to ride 6km to put lotto on and buy the paper in the morning......wish me luck.  Think I have forgotten how to ride a bike......  If I survive tomorrow, then 11km to work on Monday.

Osteo appointment, coffee, exercise physiologist, then some strength work.

Gonna give some easy riding a go while watching the race tomorrow 🤞 usually like to do the 180km during the pro bike/run, will see how I go. Working tonight may not help!

I was going to do my long bike on Zwift tomorrow and keep tabs on the race and lock in the virtual Shiv but my noggin says that I need to ride outside.

Easy run today and a solid swim. And cleaning the house 😳😳😳😥😁😁😁👍

Not sure if you are actually referring to the existing running club but yeah that's already a thing : https://www.facebook.com/groups/650499288335106/

They do heaps of parkruns around Australia... http://www.parkrun.com/results/consolidatedclub/?clubNum=21413

went and rode MTB on firetrails for 1 1/2hr.  Trails wet, and one puddle was deeper than expected, over hub on front wheel.

Couldn't face sitting inside on Zwift, needed to be outside in the rain.
