What training did you do today...

Recommended Posts

Two walks.

One 3km

One 7km

Put two tiny moments of shuffling in the 7km walk. No pain or anything but no confidence in the ankle either.

Good day all round.

The kid is hurting me. Negative split the back half of parkrun & put them hammer down over the last 500m

Thats a great pic.

Is that really your poker face? 😉

After three weeks of doing nothing, I have done six days small training in a row, culminating in my 1st Park run today My last park run was over two yearsago.  Continuing tomorrow with a ride.

Stikman and I did an parkrun, which was our first outing after the man-flu we barely survived. We both came 4th in our age groups by a happy coincidence!

After two weeks of getting light headed, dizzy and headaches, apparently I have eustachian tube dysfunction. Still allowed to swim (can stay on track with winter fish!) just no bike and run for a week.

Being soft today and rode on trainer.  Just couldnt handle cold today after 5am long run in 2 degrees yesterday morning.  3hr:40mins on trainer then 35:31 run off bike.  Legs felt great on run.    Bonus was gave me time to watch dvd's for education - back pain assessment and applications to restore movement and get function back (DR McGill).  Core Condtioning - Paul Chek

Um, 3:45 on the trainer sounds harder than any ride outside, at least to me!  I wouldn't consider that being soft.  You wanna see soft, look at me.

It was 3:40 not 3:45.  Soft is being not getting out in the cold.  Beautiful day otherwise.

How's that man-flu coming on?

Clearing.

But the chest is still heavy and sore. And my right ears still sore. My GP fobbed it off but I have had bad ears since I was a kid, might have to go to another doctor for antibiotics to get rid of it sooner rather than later. Winterfish awaits 😎🤘

Don't worry, we're starting training this week too. It'll be a long build but hopefully it'll be thorough for a change.

Soft I am. I haven't been outside since March and don't expect I'll see the road again until a week before worlds! ... and that will be just to make sure I can still balance on my bike... I was not designed for the cold!!

Gotta love a day off!

How is a day off involve 2:45 of swimming, running and strength?

Or just a day off the  bike?

The pool is heated so it doesn't count.

I'm on the bike now..... day off work to pack for Canberra (only away 4 school days but they asked me to take 5) ... kind of haven't started packing yet and I need to leave to pick up the girls from school and take them to skipping training in 3 hours. I still have 30 min left on the bike. Priorities! 😂

I won't have a bike in Canberra so I needed to fill in some hours today to make up for a slow training week ahead.

Just got back from running intervals in the rain. This means I want it right?

It stopped pouring down 4 mins before I got home. Typical.

Ran home 7.5km in the rain, felt good! Then saw my new bike box in the bike room! Now I’m all ready for the 6hr mtb race I signed up for next weekend
