Of course,

Swim was shorter sharper 150's and 50's building to about 1500m pace.

Ride was 276ap and 281np for 5.05hr (some IM pace work in there at 300w and a few times up box hill surging up to 70.3 pace/340w)

Run was 4min/km

I didn't have any chocolate today.

By that, I mean solids (I did have a hot milo), and I mean during the daytime hours (since getting home I've had about 1/3 family block of cadbury chrunchie chocolate).

Does that mean I can have heaps tomorrow?

Probably. I'm not sure how Mrs FP got pregnant in the first place, I'm always knackered! :sleep1:

Deadlifted 100kg 3 sets x 4.  At work with have 1 hour gaps where one trainer trains the other trainer.  This allows us to develop our ability to read and adjust loading.  So Nathan today pushed my boundaries a bit.

Nut ting. Still dying. 😿 (that is a pretty sad looking crying cat, just saying)

Hopefully have turned a corner this afternoon and am on the mend. Will be having tomorrow off work to be sure. Not thinking about training for a few more days. This bug has really knocked me on my ass.

What training did I do today? Yesterday? Last week ? The week before and the week before that ? Well, basically NOTHING. I’ve done almost nothing for three full weeks since Port 70.3  (exercise has been one swim in a thermal pool, a couple of surfs amd three rounds of golf). Well, tomorrow is the restart of training.

About bloody time.

80km hard ride with the faster guys in my Saturday group. Plenty of hills and flat out chain gangs.

I had a shit day and night yesterday so threw the wettie in the car, drove to the beach at sunrise and went for a 1500m OWS, first one with the wetsuit on this year.  Not another soul in sight in the water or the beach.  Perfect start to the day really.

In Sydney, a fab weekend visiting the kids...and crapping myself driving Sydney traffic.  We all did an 80min walk Coogee-Bondi on Sat, then various walks & runs around Bay Run today.  Managed 30mins of 2min walk-2min run today with no knee pain.  Happy dayz.  Our youngest & her boyfriend are following a program I put together for the Goldie Half Mara & seem to be going well....shit will hit the fan if Georgie beats him up there in July though

Doing some good work mate. Keep it trucking 😎🤘

3km walk and a 4km swim. 15km for the week in the pool. 5km to get my Winterfish 50 goal. Ankle has been holding up well with the walking, complains a bit when I push it too much for too long. But I'll keep it moving, seems to be responding well.

Cheers brother, getting a bit tiring lately and could be in danger of peaking at the wrong time. Have a HIM in 4wks time, then it’s another 3wks to LCW which is my main focus at the moment and I will make a call re IM Wales on that weekend.

You are doing well in the pool, I’m seriously lucky to swim 4km per week at the moment!  Sending healing vibes for your ankle mate :)

Don't want to quote AP

But make sure you arrive to the LCW healthy and ready rather than exhausted and sick. Be careful.

Cheers mate 👍👍

Sporadic since port, last big session was 2h on the bike trainers at atmosphere. My membership ends today, and I am moving next weekend.

I will start back on the bike once I have setup the cave, proper swimming once I have my pool pass (there is a small pool in my building), and running once I have spoken to the physio and have a treatment plan for my hip issues. The building I am moving into has a gym and pool/spa/sauna which is good.

The man and I will be doing Rhodes park run together.

30 min swim yesterday.

1hr Zwift last night, attempted the Matt Hayman P-R workout, that was the first workout on Zwift that I couldn't hit the numbers on. Pulled the pin after 40 mins and did 20mins just riding. A work in progress B)

2 hrs on the trainer before work. Now I'm sitting at work trying to think of an excuse to get out of tonight's  run training with my daughter.

If the little savage sensors any weakness she is going to step it up an put me in the box.

Poker face on.

Hey Katz, I met someone. He's pretty damn special, in a good way. On Tinder of all places!

Last training was 1200m in the pool on Tuesday. Man is bugging me about getting to The Ponds Parkrun tomorrow.

Had a 30min moderate run yesterday, was meant to swim but there was a last minute change for pool times, so a hastily arranged rest evening was ‘endured’

2.8km swim.

I had originally planned to take the dog for a walk this afternoon, but I've had my worst day (with my knee) since I stopped trying to run a few months ago.

I think I've narrowed it down to drinking blend last night instead of single malt.

Strength gym work unilateral work.   Then treadmill set of 1km reps x 8 with 30secs rest - 17.5-18.5km/h floating between them with last one at 3% incline
