What training did you do today...

Recommended Posts

Not really training as such but we spent the weekend at Mount Beauty. Early yesterday morning a few of us ran from the Mountain Creek picnic area to the summit of Mt Bogong to watch the sunrise. We then headed to the Mount Beauty MTB park for their open day, which included a bus ride to the top and thrills and spills on the way back down to the bottom. Then I got to finish the day off with a flight over Mount Beauty in a mates glider... It was a good day!

Nothing again today, and likely tomorrow.

Feeling like the pits, but getting heaps done here, so that's the main thing.

You'll be back!

Rode to track through the rain.

Ran track, but managed to pause/restart my watch at the start/end of the 1 k efforts instead of hitting lap.

Idiot.

Rolled slowly to work after track and rolled slowly home after work.

About to walk busso jetty.

You must have been walking on as my daughter and I walked off. I swear that I've swum around it more times than I've walked it. I can almost swim it faster than walking it with my 9 year old too!

It was a slow walk yesterday too. People everywhere. Walked from the lighthouse to sugarloaf today. Snakes everywhere. And they weren't small

First salty swim since busso.

Went down to Balmoral , jogged up and down the beach trying to bum a pair of goggles after finding mine had broken on the trip here. Swam a couple of km, jogged home. And all in my trannies cap.

82 kms this morning on the bike. Just about to start the home chores as the missus has a terrible throat infection, sore back AND plantar fasciitis. I offered to shoot her but she said she'd rather do it herself. :smile1::smile1:

I slept in till 7:30 and after that it was far too hot to do anything (31 degrees here by then).

I don't think I slept in that late any day last year. I hope this isn't the start of a NY trend.

90 minutes of touch football then cleaned a couple of rooms, trip to the tip and then to Bunnings. $450 bucks later it appears I have a few more things to do. Might do a MTB ride this arvo and try out this Strava thing that so many people seem to use. I'm not even sure how to start it...

Swim?

Thought about it, but my hay fever was so bad today. I had a sneezing fit that bad my throat started bleeding. I took an antihistamine and just woke up. :)

So far I've been asleep for all but 3 hours of this year.
