OK 

Official photographer retrieved from school via netball training. 😁👍

 

Updated position 

3mm lower seat 

2mm forward saddle 

 

More importantly, better(still not high cycling fashion crap) socks and a somewhat matching Jersey. And yes I wear Hi Viz cycling, I don't ****ing care as long as I am a bit more visible. 

 

Feels good. Zwifting tonight. 😎🤘😁

Just an fyi I had an issue at my first couple of ironman races.  Could spend 2 hours on the bars on the trainer with no pain but put me on the road and it was debilitating.   Issue with core strength that wouldn't show on the trainer due to not having to balance I guess.

Personally I’d still like to see a bit more bend in that knee. 

Have a google around for pics of optimal knee angle and compare that to your piccys. 

On anoher note you look like you are built a bit like me, relatively long legs and arms but short torso. If that’s the case, like me regardless of bike fittings you will struggle to get a classic aero position. In which case you just need to work on getting as aero as possible while remaining comfortable and holding that position.

Couple of things

1) Seat is most likely too high still (quite a bit IMO)

2) I can't see from the photo but if your seat is not all the way forward yet, I'd suggest you do that first. If not possible the alternative is to look for a shorter stem. To me you look a bit over extended and would like to see the elbows more aligned with and supporting your shoulders.

Other than that I think it looks good.

I was quite surprised when I got my retul bike fit, in the way he moved my position and telling me in time I'd get even lower at the front end.  In some ways things went the opposite way (or further) than I expected and I've been shocked how much more comfortable it was, and I would never have moved things that way myself.

Seatpost is a forward position one so seat tube angle is probably 77 not 73 

 

Going to wait until I ride outside to see what the pads feel like. They're a bit forward compared to the older position as I felt "scrunched". 

 

It feels extremely weird to be back on it. Been a while since I have been.

Victorian bush 

3rd gear tapped over a big log 

Last thing I remember seeing before waking up on the ground was looking upside down back at the headlight. Yes, massive over the bars. 

 

Woke up and did the spinal check....wiggle all fingers and toes.... LOL 

 

Found the bike, square back wheel, subframe bent 90 degrees left, all plastics ****ed. 3month old bike. 

 

Rode it out of the bush and home with what I thought was broken ribs. Parked bike in carport and collapsed on the front lawn. Ex wife(girlfriend at the time) found me who knows how long later and rushed me to hospital. Turned out that I had hit the ground so hard that I had nearly completely split my liver in two when it hit my ribcage.... LOL internal bleeding.... LOL not 1 broken bone(thank **** for growing up on a dairy farm and drinking cows milk 99% of the time) 

 

ICU for days. Off my guts on morphine watching Oprah. Happy days 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😎🤘YEOW

Going to move pads in a little bit.
