I've entered. The 40km cruise on the bike followed by the 10km walk would just about see me out, but then I'm sure I wouldn't come last doing that anyway.

It shows the flights as on specific days, but I'm assuming they could be swapped around to ensure a stay of longer than 4 days. :)

If you added "oggles of goggles" ( still think i must be missing something about why this is worthy of winning a prize but anyway..) to your entry it probably is in the bag...

Some more notice would have been good Roxii. There's no way I can organise a pilot boat for a channel shot this year. I wonder if their deferment policy is any better than IM's.

Ooo... even if I don't win I might actually able to be "home" to race anyway. Would love to do a London tri.

Don't give it to Bored@ this time.  Mind you, it's not an Ironman on an easy course in the united yanks of merica, so maybe he wouldn't take it.

Seems they are offering up a wetsuit in a new competition now. Same conditions for this competition too.

Rimmer or FP, what are the general condition for this type of competition in the UK. Out here you have to advertise the winner in the media.

Ahem ;)

8.28.5
Promoters must either publish or make available on request the name and county of major prizewinners and, if applicable, their winning entries except in the limited circumstances where promoters are subject to a legal requirement never to publish such information. Promoters must obtain consent to such publicity from all competition entrants at the time of entry. Prizewinners must not be compromised by the publication of excessive personal information.

Guidance from the Advertising Standards Authority.
