Good to see a good distance swim.

For the non-swimmers.

Not that much more than an IM, and you get an extra 7 hours.

And two nights sleep

Look at me, look at me

Look at me!

Look at me!

Look at me NOW!

It is fun to have fun

But you have to know how.

Steve missed out on the official world record for his age group because of the short swim.  Even if you add 16 minutes to his time to make up the extra distance, he still would have smashed the old record, but that doesn't count of course.  That would be a bit annoying.

Now if WTC owned this, he'd have his world record, and the world would be right again.

Don't want to be weird but I get all warm and fuzzy with the idea of this. Fatigue that deep is a beautiful thing.

Correct.

There's something very right about it from where I stand.

Firstly, just the distances are ****ing ridiculous. And that ticks all the boxes for me! I thrive on the ridiculous, regardless of the situation.

Secondly, it'd have to be like....what....? 140% mental? Surely?? LOL

I'm always right :confused1: except for anything to do with my wife

It's only 135% if you train uphill in the rain and slam you're nuts in a drawer daily :lol::lol:

I'm thinking if ironman is 70% mental why the hell do I spend 10hrs a week training for the race. I might go see a psychologist for 7 hours a week and get the same results.

This way I can stay in my warm comfy bed longer & sleep with my phone next to me.

My wife has mine, so I can't slam them in the drawer at all.
