Ultraman 2018. Right here, right now.

Recommended Posts

Anyone in Noosa for the UM?

I'm crew captain for an athlete and run pacer on day 3.

Arrived yesterday for bike check, rego and welcome breaky tomorrow before getting down to business on Saturday. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't suffering a little bit of race envy.

Shocking conditions here at the moment...

Carl Read AKA "The Flying Mullet" should be a firm favourite.

Lucky it's not in WA. They'd be cancelling the swim with that massive swell coming through.

The organisers couldn't have picked a more perfect location or time of year for UMOZ.

It's hard to beat Noosa as a location any time of the year - it's as close to perfect as we have 😎

Just don't let those pretenders in "The Shire" think that they live in God's country.

Noosa is God's Country.

Jason Shields will shake it up as well.

The ladies race should be a cracker.

Don't know Carl read but Jason shields if it's the one from Shepparton/Ardmona is pretty damn solid n consistent, and seems to get better as you up the distance

I just heard that they are using the ultraman name but it’s not licensed to call it that.

So these people are doing the distance but it’s not even possible for them to use it to do the world champs.

Word is the woman that runs the Ultraman Brand will never let these people do her world champs.

More to come.

Is that why Travis isn’t racing

He told me at Port he was already going to Ultraman WC, not sure whether he was happy or not to miss out on his roll down spot for Kona IM. Rosie did accept her spot, of course.

Shields is a good sporting name around the Goulburn Valley. Footy wise anyway
