Foam roll before and after.

Torture :D

Not it is not because it doesnt need to be hard as people think and most spend to much time on one spot.  Quick 30sec on calves, quads, glutes and some thoracic extension is suffice.

Doing proper strength work actually reduces the soreness as it builds adherence so tissue doesnt react in a stiffening as much

So, Day 50 is over for me.

At the turn, I've done 24 runs for a grand total of 90.2 kms

For the year, I've done 47 runs, so I had done 23 before I started this.

Getting me running more consistently is definitely working so far.

I've done 4 minute run/2 minute walk for most of the runs.

The first few at ~7:00/km average.

The last few at ~6:40 /km average.

One of the local guys had his run streak up to 112 days. Has dropped his 5km run time by at least a minute to around 21:30. He is probably 45-50 years of age. Seems to be working for him.

My inherent laziness is still a good preventative measure :D

Great way to get better hip extension if done correctly.

Just saw this and it has peaked my interest - how? Is there a particular technique?
