Mark Allen - he did do more than Dave - but the pair of them are triathlon royalty - I just can't work out how they did it without strava 😌

And most people forget Mark Allen won the Nice race ( most prestigious race other than Kona ) 10 times out 10 attempts against the best fields in triathlon.

Nice back then wa 4K swim 130K Bike 30K run.

Dave Scott, because when I google his name he's the first thing that pops up.

When I google Mark Allen, I get anything but Mark the triathlete.  Heck, even a nobody golfer comes up sooner.  Heck, even a nobody who enjoys watching golf comes up sooner!

I consider mark better because of his nice domination.

If it wasn’t place on the date it was, he would have won many more konas.

Mark also won the first ITU olympic distance world championship in 1989.

BTW, his (and Julie Moss's) son Mats is racing triathlons now, was 12th overall in the Wildflower olympic distance race on Sunday.

It's a list of when 11 became the new 12, 10 the new 11, 9 the new 10, etc etc

Crowie would have won this if he wasn't 7yr old at the time.

That's a book of spells. The medieval equivalent of doping.

The stuff she gave me looked like she had raked it out from under the shrubs in her garden - once it's boiled up it tastes like elephant urine - if they had of drug tested me it probably would have shown up as elephant hormones 😝

I was wondering if they may have tested Travis's  wife also. Smashing an age group by two hours.

(Calm the fk down it was only a thought & not an accusation)

I was actually thinking which is better for me?

TP premium or Strava premium?*

*serious question

If you use a PC, and Chrome, there is an extension called StravistiX (free) which does some pretty interesting stuff with fitness, fatigue and form, may be worth a look.

This sport is a long apprenticeship - if you look at the backgrounds of Rosie, or my competitors - none of them have our background - or our fanatical perseverance - both of us have big backgrounds - endurance training is like putting money in the bank - if you keep making regular deposits it builds to something big - then on the other hand if you keep taking your Kona spot you use up any cash you may have accumulated - but I figured if I don't spend it - someone else will when I'm gone 😎

I have coached both Trout and Rosie in the past - we're on a very similar path 😎
