I actually started logging my walks as runs because a) I wanted to track how long my shoes last and walking doesn't count shoe milage,  and B) I'm trying to track my cadence, in particular in harder efforts and walking didn't track my cadence....

Obviously the whole thing is not an actually useful way of measuring how hard anyone is training (e.g. my almost vomit inducing Fartlek this morning counts for "more" than my gentle swim yesterday). We all know the maxim of quality and not quantity too!

What it is is a fun way of supporting our fellow trannies and being an extra motivator for those times we might be tempted to be lazy... 

I'm still aiming to get to the top after the weekends long rides though ;)

Yes. So long as they are exercise walks, I don't see why not. However I don't think you could probably log walking around Woolworths.

Some people walk/shuffle the run leg so why not put walks in. Im not though 

If it's a push mower yes, why not? It's good exercise! So long as you're putting some effort into it.

This transitions. You know you will get the support.

 

Unfortunately you will also get fktards taking pot shots at you becuase you haven't qualified for KONA etc.  But this is a tri forum & Kona is the holy grail of life. So I guess it/s ok.

My fenix3 doesn't track the course so it doesn't record the walk as such when I play golf :(

But you're only a crit distance tricathalete though. :lol: If I ever do Kona it won't be because I qualify... But I'm aiming to do the antartica mara with my wife in 2019. That's $50k just in entry fees, plus getting to Chile etc. There's way better races/experiences then Kona IMO. A buddy reckons he'd take Roth over Kona any day of the week.

We should have a trannies golf day. I'm a way better golfer than I am triathlete (but I'm so shit at triathlon I'm mediocre at golf) :lol:
