Thanks. Then again, I might keep the "run" stats and claim the world record of 1:25 for a marathon.

It's been a while since I've managed to be in the top ten, let alone 1. :)

And even Tyno gets into the 10.

Luckily for you I log mine when I get home otherwise it may have been #2 for you. Early out on a beautiful day.

Congrats EHB.

Thanks, I figure a lot of people log theirs later, so I took the snap straight away. :)

Glad to see you didn't take it personally, and could clearly interpret my response as "sour grapes";)

You might have only done 50 mins more training than me for the week, but I can see it was all quality because you covered 70 more kilometers. It's sad when you get old and slow.

Hope you have a good race at Port Steve. I'm sure we'll catch up there.

After yesterday's performance at Challenge Melbs, I think Port Mac is looking pretty good - all that training is paying off!

A lot can happen in 12 hours.

Thanks kids, it's been a fun time since Xmas.

Thought I'd get in with one last gratuitous plug.

It's down hill all the way from here.

Congratulations to @Blobby and @ironmum on some stellar training performances over the time frame. Very impressive, and I hope you both have spectacular races on the weekend. You deserve it.

Same goes to the others that have been training for Port.

Good luck.

( I know I'm going to need it.)

With most of the people at the top of the list doing Port on Sunday, and Strava starting the week Monday, I may have a chance of staying near the top longer than 12 hours next week. :)

This all depends on how long we take to complete the Beer mile after Port!

I reckon by mid September I will be topping this chart ;) My wifey says I cant enter busso until I'm under 85kgs. So I need to loose 17kg or so 😮 Or remove a couple of limbs...

I was looking at some of the Strava segments from people ( I know how their race times ) — “ easy 4 hour ride “ - 130km — “ easy  Ironman pace run “ - 4.30 min/km Pace ( 15km ) —- then I discovered there is a digital EPO that improves your ride and run by 5% when uploaded to Strava !!!!!

It's all perception Youngy

Ps. Triathletes have no idea what pace 'easy' or 'recovery' is. Let them humor themselves.

Interesting. I don't know what my easy or hard timed run pace is. I just use my HR monitor. Maybe that's why I am just slow, but go all day.

I had a look at a couple of the segments for the popular reaches in the dam tonight. Obviously they aren't as highly sought after as with cycling. The section from the dam wall back to the beach is about 420m. I figured unless someone was going out there to particularly take that one, and they weren't doing anything else hard, a top swimmer would come in just under 4 minutes.

Well. The record on that section is 31 seconds. Set by a girl who did a 1.5km swim that day at an average pace of, wait for it, 2:25 per 100m.

Then there's another couple around the 3 minute mark. Seems swimmers aren't as anal about their KOMs. :)
