The Customer 1,789 Report post Posted December 29, 2017 If it's 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' I only found it by cheating on google. A wonderful movie and rare to see Rickman in a romantic lead role - he's brilliant in it. It's miles away from his villainous roles that came after it.

I need another clue. Getting warmer. It doesn’t star Fiennes, but Fiennes does star in the next movie that the writer/director/producer made (the one that won a bunch of Oacars) ... The Customer 1,789 Report post Posted December 29, 2017 I bawled through that movie. Hard to believe they sang 'Sun ain't gonna shine anymore' without it feeling cheesy. However, after my recent Lawrence of Arabia experience, I might see it differently with more cynical eyes.

Pete 355 Report post Posted January 7, 2018 51 minutes ago, Ex-Hasbeen said: It was his old commander to the local trooper wasn't it? Yes, with Richard Crenna as Colonel Sam Trautman and Brian, Dennehy as Sheriff Will Teasle Trautman: You want a war you can't win? Teasle: Are you telling me that 200 men against your boy is a no-win situation for us? Trautman: You send that many, don't forget one thing. Teasle: What? Trautman: A good supply of body bags. I think this film was the basis for many action movie cliche quotes for the next 10 years
