The Movie Quote Game

Recommended Posts

Ok, I don't know how this will play out here, because really it's gonna rely on some trust and some faith in your fellow trannies!  But here goes anyway. I start by writing a line from a movie, and the first person to guess correctly gets to come up with the next quote, and so on and so forth. It may be an epic fail, but wtf, I'm bored!  Here goes....

"And old Satan Claus, Jimmy, he's out there"

See how we go with this one:

"Did you bring me a monkey?"

It was a Michael Keaton movie.  The one where he played the same character.  I can't remember the name.

Ahhhh that’d be Multiplicity.

(MK used to be one of my favourite actors.)

Yep, Multiplicity. Full of absolute corkers.

"She touched my Pipi steve"

"I'm gonna eat a dolphin".  "No, you're gonna pet a dolphin". "Yeah, I'm gonna pet a dolphin"

...and in the mornin, I'm makin' waffles!

I got a wallet. That guy gave it to me.

A quote I often hear around here. I always wondered where it came from.

I'm going to guess Man from Snowy River (Just introduced my kids to this movie a few months ago, the oldest two watched it from start to finish without getting up)

Sadly it wasn't because of renewing it in the movie; it's been donkeys ages since I saw it. Your clue have it away.

My turn again.    "Nice Beaver!"

I thought it might be a bit obvious, like quoting "No, I am your father".  One of the best two movies of it's genre!

It's Fletch...... loved that movie as a kid; wonder if it's aged well??

This one is very apt in today's society, considering the results we regularly get.

"They f*** you in the drive through"

No takers?

Hint: male and female lead were reunited in the cast of the Harry Potter movies.

bonus hint: writer/director/producer won an extensive array of Oscars for his next movie ...

Dr Strangelove.

Revisited 'Lawrence of Arabia' this week. Hadn't seen it since I was a kid. Second time around, it's sooooo camp and I'm not talking about the tents!

Think about the hints a bit more ... what nationality are the actors in the Harry Potter movies most likely to be?

English.   so an English movie with a tiny bit of Spanish in it.   has to be a couple of the older actors from Harry Potter, Rickman, or Fiennes, or Harris?   I need another clue.
