@roxii I just started listening to The Comedians' Comedian.

Like RHLSTP but without Richard Herring. Might be more up your street...

Do you think Chris Dawson is going to the Big House?

Come on, am I the only one listening to "Teachers Pet"?  - Sydney, Northern Beaches, Cromer High School, Rugby star twins? No Trannies insider info on this?

Russia, if you're listening is a dialog about Trump, his cronies and their link to Russia, the oligarchs and Putin (and everything in between) - fascinating!

On a day when I really needed a laugh, coming home from Snoo Yurties funeral I listened to Richard Fidlers Conversation with William McInnes.

Wife was worried about my ability to drive due to the hysterical laughter and tears rolling down my cheeks.

If you love a good Aussie yarn it’s unmissable

I can't believe I missed this back in 2017 from the Dwarf. I'm very late to the party but this podcast is absolute freakin gold. Listened to gillies one first. Then Cadel and Luc Longley. Quality interviews, Howie has said he's after positive stories about people he admires but doesn't get too fanboy on them, still asks some really good q's. Gives them right to post-edit so they seem to open up and not be too guarded. Loving it

Elis James and John Robbins XFM Podcast. Very British but pool drowningly funny.

Even funnier in real life! Reminds me of Saturday Afternoons on JJJ where they would sit around talking shite for hours!

I am listening to it at the moment and it's disturbing on a number of fronts. Domestic violence, the disappearance of a well-liked woman, the teachers roles in student's lives, Police inaction.

Sadly, I think Dawson has dodged this all of his life and will continue to do so.

The police finished their dig yesterday with no luck apparently.

Headley was on the radio yesterday saying the police with all the new leads and evidence are still very confident of putting together a solid circumstantial case.

Interesting timing that another high profile case is back in the news, that of Kellie Lane who was convicted of killing her two day old daughter purely in circumstantial grounds.

Newcomer to podcasts, but have gotten into Small Town Murder.  Couple of comedians talking about deaths in various small towns (has to be under 35,000 popn to qualify).  Quite long episodes as most go a touch over 2 hours, really impressed with the amount of research they do and learnt a bit about the various legals issues, particularly around death sentences.  Mostly US towns, but have gone to Australia, Canada and UK as well for cases.  Really seems to be some dumb persons out there trying to get away with these murders, loved one episode on a murder from the early 90s when the murderer confessed when they were told the photocopy machine was a lie detector

Almost going to miss my long commutes just as I found podcasts...

Heard that and I think that there are so many parts to this which are loosely connected, the only way he'll go down is if he confesses (unlikely), they find a body (again), they try a trial based on circumstantial evidence (risky) or someone shops him (again, unlikely as they are so close knit and are approaching an age where health usually beats them).

The NSW Police Department don't come out of this in any way covered in glory and neither do the Education Department.

I remember there were a couple of teachers at my school who disappeared in the middle of term as they were having inappropriate relationships with students .... but nothing like this! The 70s and 80s were a different time!

The DPP have behaved atrociously - I cant believe that what they call evidence was actually  unverified statements from the suspect - "shes used her credit card since" or "friends have seen her" - that police recorded as evidence - both considered reasons why they didn't prosecute. Sounds like everyone wanted to be mates with Chris and Paul cos they were top blokes so everything they said was gospel.
