I only wear Roka because they sponsor Kona.

You only wear it cos it is cheaper to fly to 2 x USA IMs and buy Roka there than pay their shipping rates...

Jesus, you're not wrong! $1600 for a wetsuit that is at the very most going to give you 30s?

So, looking at the races force mentioned.....

How often had Noosa been WS legal? I know of one year it was and my mate overheated in the swim and came out in distress.

How many times has Mool been WS legal?

How often has Kingy been WS legal, in particular with its now Dec and March dates?

I guess Coffs could generally be legal, so could be one race a year you'd use it.

Lot of money to sit in a closet

Pfft who pays full price.  Use a drop box & avoid the shipping rates, duties & taxes.  That reminds me it's been a month since I was last in the USA. It must be time to book some more flights.

I think u are missing the point

well my point anyway is the a wetsuit is more about comfort, and confidence than speed

just like all top end bikes they are all as "fAst" as each other , but it's all about the fit ( for each person)

And if they were WS legal, was that when the rule was below 24 degrees for a wettie?  The rules are now 22 degrees...

What are people's thoughts on Blue Seventys sizing? I've seen a Helix going cheap, it's small though. I'm stocky, 170cm and 73kg, no way I'd fit into a small, but according to their website I would.

Wetsuits Sizing Chart

- MEN -
Size Height (ft/in) Height (cm) Build Weight (kg) Weight (lbs)
XS 4'10”-5'4” 147cm-160cm Extra Small 55-65 kg 121-143 lbs
SM 5'4”-5'9” 160cm-170cm Small 64–75 kg 143–172 lbs
SMT 5'8”-6'0” 172cm-182cm Small/Tall 68–78 kg 150–172 lbs
M 5'8”-6'1” 172cm-184cm Medium 74–84 kg 158–187 lbs
MT 5'11”-6'2” 180cm-188cm Medium/Tall 76– 86 kg 160–190 lbs
ML 5'11”-6'3” 182cm-190cm Medium/Large 84–92 kg 176–198 lbs
L 5'11”-6'4” 184cm-194cm Large 88–98 kg 192–220 lbs
XL 6'0”–6'6” 185cm-200cm Extra Large 96+ kg 209+ lbs

Zed I’m 170cm and 70kg and I’m in a smt. It feels like some restriction around my neck when I first put it on but loosens once in the water. I’ve only go their cheap suit and have had no other swimming wetsuit to compare
