He mentioned HFLC in a podcast the other day.  He also mentioned he will nutrition he has never used in a race before.

I have done that.  Capilano Use To Have Honey SHOTS That Came IN Squeeze Sachets.   Worked better then gels for me in terms getting digested without tummy issues

For an ironman though? I used honey a couple of times in short races, not sure it could sustain me for an IM.

I use honey gels and they are arwsome 

very very good on the tummy , and a flat energy curve

Longest used them for was 50km run.  I am pretty sure he will be consuming Gatorade as well or something with salt or he could be in trouble

i seen him "running" along alli drive this morning and he seriously look arwfull

i yelled some encouragement to him twice as I went past and he he almost looked embarrassed that he was being recognised
