What training did you do today?

Recommended Posts

Did a 1km trot this morning, day 3 of the comeback.  Already starting to feel the body loosen up a bit

Got the roller out today, 3 days into my return and have a nasty calf cramp.  Considering the most I've run is 1km in 7min/km pace...

I'm glad you didn't try to pass it off as man-flu. :)

Might get out for a short trot after lunch to test the new shoes, and hopefully loosen up some very sore legs!

Rolled around at Pirt Stephens tri on rough guts. Had to have a potty stop at 6km mark. Still - 12 minutes faster than last year ... and I got a second place in the fat bastards category ... :)

rolled around park run this morning, 8 minutes off my pb so have a bit of work to do.  Calves remained pretty good, so followed it up with some time on the spin bike and the rowing machine

2km walk on the AlterG :-) baby steps..

Good work.  We each have our own challenges, don't be pressured into overdoing it.  Like you say, baby steps.

Rode 57 km in 3 hours.

Missed 1 repeat due to mental fragility.

2.5km in a very cold dam this morning, then built this garden. Zero cost, as I used someone's unwanted sleepers, free mulch from the dump, and plants thinned from other gardens. Even my boss is happy with the result.

Now for a scotch.

Did a couple hours in the garage this morning - rowing, spin bike, treadmill, weights and some stretching.  First time since 2 Bays in Jan I've burnt over 1000 calories in exercise in a day - felt damn good

An hour on the windtrainer then 7K off the bike at comfortable pace. Just started my new plan for Sunny Coast 70.3.

Went back to t the gym the other day to do some weights and was quickly reminded that I really hate going to the gym. I don't mind weights - just hate the other people in the gym :-D
