Love your enthusiasm, but wasn't there a thread on this topic?

But it would be nice to have a glow stick buddy

I think most of us feel that way. Especially after a hard training session. :)

Yeah. I was in the middle of one. On an interval break...

If you're able to post during intervals, you either aren't going hard enough, or the breaks are too long. :)

I was worried about ExH!!

Remember I'll be swimming about 55 by then, so should be off at the start of the roll through (every minute before sunset helps), then jump on every rider that passes me for 180km. I figure 200W should get me about 5:15 at that rate :).

That gives me 4:30 to get through the run after drafting my ass off on the bike.

No prob's. :)

Nah you're right. Im normally on my bike by 55min.

That's only because you choose all the races with a short swim

Nah Im just bloody good at drafting

Before my last IM I had a 2 week build at Caloundra with a couple of mates. I might come down to Port and spend a couple weeks picking up tips from an expert this time.

You're welcome here anytime. I never get anyone to draft off in training (except in the pool)

You're cutting your prep time short, as well as recovery time from your previous event.

Not me. Last race (other than Corporate Cup) was a half in 2009 & the before that was an IM was 1990. I figure 19 years break after an IM, then 10 years after a half is about the right recovery.

As I'm older now, I hate to think when my next one after 2019 will be. :)

Give me a day or two for everyone to forget I said TC. Just like I said K2 a few days ago.

Is Wednesday good for you?

This race will cost me over $40k.

I'm planning 3 weeks in Cape York after the race. I did after challenge in 2011 so I need a new 4x4.
