I reckon this year's race will see the renaissance of Port with the 70.3 back on the same day. Looking forward to it!

Shit Mjainoz, I told you that you can't do any races I'm in. I only hope there are as many in the AG that there was down in the last Callala (i.e. - 2, but I will let it slip to 3 at a stretch).

FM

And BTW, don't sell the 70.3 short. It is still a good length by anyone's standard.

Given your recent medal winning ways I think you have nothing to worry about. But I can declare ...

I've have now trained for 13 days and had a rest day yday. So today a test.

I rode the trainer for 2 hours. Swam 1500m and ran 16 Ks. I'm still alive ... so looks like I'll be in port for the mini man and then watch the big men go around !! #excited

Great news mate. As for recent medals, you only had to turn up to get one. Port should be great. As Chrissie once said - there's a fine line between pleasure and pain.

See you there.

Does anyone know if under TA rules it is OK to wear a sleeved tri suit under a sleeveless wetsuit? I know I'll be breaking some styling rules but I'm willing to make a sacrifice since I need all the help I can get.

Completely fine. Turtle is a trailblazer for you, she did it at Husky last year!

They do enforce the rules on us after dark...

(got a warning at Melb in '15 for 'no pacing' guess that is one way to scare off an ex...)

And in that race I swam sleeved trisuit under the sleeveless wetsuit.

Go to hardware store.

Buy Swarfega (with extra grit).

Wash mouth out.

In all honesty that's bullshit. Some TOs need to wake up to themselves.

Someone still going in the dark after 12+ hours on course it should almost be compulsory to have someone with them for safety.

It's farkin clear it's not pacing.

At 15 hours, it's not pacing, it's surviving.
