And Kobe rounds out his 20 years career with 60 points and 25th game of scoring 50+

When I stopped really watching US basketball Kobe was in his last year of college and I remember thinking "this kid could be anything when he learns how to pass the ball." Maybe now he's retired he'll try to pick it up?

Warriors roll to victory without S Curry today.

Klay cancelled out Harden.

Iggy stepped up.

Can't see them losing 4 of 5 from here.

Did you mean high school?

Thibodeau gets the best coaching job going with the super talented young T-Wolves team.

And they've got another high draft pick coming in June.

While Phil Jackson stuffs around trying to find someone to run his triangle offence for the Knicks rather then going after the best coach available.

He did not play college ball, drafted out of HS. Like KG, Moses Malone. The Rainman, Sean Kemp, Le Bron, they were all No. 1 picks out of High School.

Spurs & Cavs both sweep Rd 1.

Warriors 3-1 up, but possibly 2 weeks* of no Curry.

*No way it's 2 weeks, but MCL will limit him when he does come back in.

The Clippers are done. No way they get out of the first round without Paul and Griffin. GSW should be able to cruise by Portland without Curry

Space Jam 2 is starting to gather some pace, looking forward to it.

In other news, hanging out of the 15/16th. Perfect day will be Suns getting pick 1 or 2, and the Lakers getting picking 4+

I still see GSW getting through this round, but it's is looking tough for them to go much further without Steph.

Or even with a partly fit Steph.

D Lillard loves playing GSW!

Spurs with a bit of a fight on their hands after smashing OKC in game 1.

Cavs favourites for mine.

Yeah, after a bit of a slow start, he just lit it up in OT.

Too busy writing his MVP acceptance speech during the normal game time

Heats vs Raptors playing out more like The Hunger Games then a basketball series, Cavs should smash what's left of whichever team goes through.

Cavs are on fire right now. Love James and Irving are finally playing well together.

Time has come.

I'm taking an interest and will be watching games from now.

Not sure if it has been mentioned in the thread, but Luke Walton was named as HC of the

Lakers.

Daddy Bill Walton Hall of Famer all 7 ft of him, with both ankles fused was out here around 2002.

He got into mountain biking and was riding a custom built 29 'er with his ankles strapped in. I

would like to say I met him, but did not get that far. We saw his vehicle with bikes on top and

got the story from LBS owner...Port Stephens, can't recall his name.

Shattered...

76ers 1st pick

Lakers Second

Celtics third

Suns currently 4th, 13th and 28th picks, expect to see them trying to trade picks + players with 76ers or Lakers to get 1 or 2. We seriously need Simmons or Ingram, beyond that expect to see the picks traded for a ready to go power forward

Trying to find the where the Knicks ended up, oh that's right they traded this years pick for Andrea Bargnani, what a disaster of a move.

76ers get their number one pick, last thing they need is another big guy that can't shoot. Can see them taking Ingram, leaving Lakers to take Simmons, baring any pick trading.

T-Wolves can pick for need at number 5, think they'll have a good few years coming up.

I kind of get the impression reading between the lines that Simmons long term has plans to be the Lakers new star, so would expect to see trades done to get him there even if he was not selected by them, possibly even after a few years.

Saw a funny graphic on instagram today where someone put together the starting five team of current players all selected with picks the Knicks had traded away, was quite a good team

Knicks rumoured to be taking Hornaceck as coach. I actually rated him as a coach with the Suns, only deficiency was stupid front office moves and injuries leaving him with a sub standard roster to work with. Hope history isn't going to repeat on him at the Knicks

Ha! Dealing with stupid front office moves and a sub standard roster (even without injuries), will be the first two things on his job description at the Knicks. I'm glad they haven't just gone with Phil's lackey Rambis though.

Hope Hornacek goes well, good luck to him if he gets the gig.

Thunder absolutely killing the Warriors.

Draymond likely looking at some time off for kicking Adams square in the nuts.

Early in the 4th, it was 7 or 8 points.

I thought a comeback was possible.

But they've been smacked in the last couple of games now and finished badly.

Can't see them winning 3 straight.

Well Cavs smashed the Raps.

Will some home cooking do the same for the Warriors?

I don't think so.

The Warriors losing to OKC didn't see that coming. Maybe Durant stays now.

Read an interesting rumour, if the Cavs win, Lebron has delivered the championship to Cleveland he promised and will then head to Lakers. A few other free agents supposedly waiting for finals and this scenario to play out before committing.

Guaranteed another Aussie championship ring.

Have been watching the Believeland doco on ESPN (it's good), not usually a Cavs fan but wouldn't mind seeing them get this one, but love watching GSW.

Not too fussed, as a former Sonics fan main thing was not having Thunder win, they still haven't really added much to the squad other then what Seattle drafted (ie Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka).

Odds are already out for 2017 champs, might be worth putting $10 on the Lakers at these odds

Cavs should be get it, maybe in 6.

If it goes to 7, GSW wins.

Interesting points on The Jump this morning.

Cavs have Kyrie and Kevin for this years Finals which they didn't last year.

That should be a good thing but what they bring on offence they lose on defence, to the point you probably can't have them together on the court much. Steph will get clear shots being guarded by Kyrie and Draymond will power past Kevin.

Gotta fancy GSW if Cavs turn it into a shootout. Reckon they are better keeping it scrappy and getting Delly hassling Steph.

The Cavs are a better team this year, no doubt.

K Love/LeBron/Kyrie will give them ~80/30/20.

If C Frye/JR Smith can hit from deep, they pose a good threat.

Not Klay/Steph threat, but enough to spread the floor to give more driving space for LeBron/Kyrie

I wouldn't be surprised to see a few 120-115 type results.

Right. Love (son of ex NBA player Stan, nephew of original Beach Boy, Mike), is a strong forward

who can rebound and score points. That would have to make a difference.

Delly though needs help to get through a 6-7 game series at that level of intensity.

Coaching. Last year I gave David Blatt benefit of doubt, this year he's not there. Arguably

Le Bron calls most of the plays, the coach has always been secondary. But Steve Kerr/Luke Walton

give Sac some advantage.

Hope it goes 7. Hope the Cavs win.

Read this morning that Mark Cuban, owner of the Mavs, also owns the trademark "city of champions"

If the warriors get up in this series, and the San Jose Sharks (go Sharks!) get up in the Stanley cup (ice hockey), then any t-shirts, caps, memorabilia etc that uses the phrase "city of champions" will be paying a licence fee to Mark.

Only in America...

Sharks down 0-2 in the series. Sid "The Kid" Crosby dominating so far.

Warriors should win. Far too quick for the Cavs. Is anyone coaching the Cavs? No adjustments?

LeBron.

"Coach" Lue is an honorary title, kind of like Coach Spo was in Miami.
