Coffee machines v nespresso machines

Recommended Posts

real coffee doesn't have milk. No waiting for frothing (Added without reading posts above).

I had some strict rules which I judge others by.

Mocha is a chocolate milk drink with coffee flavouring.

Cappuccino is for when you don't have time for breakfast meal. Never eaten after 11am

And lattes .... Well ... They are just wrong !!!

Single espresso shot is OK after midday.

AND. there is no fn X in the word ESPRESSO !!!

I appreciate you have already shared a view on the cappuccino, but I feel you could have expanded your view of the cap and included the concept of an adult putting chocolate sprinkles on a drink, any drink.

Oh' and the peeps with their bonsoy......I'm lactose intolerant so I add bonsoy..... How about you just drink coffee then.

Oh, but I want to copy Garry with his milk in his coffee.... Well how about you just buy a sugar drink if you want add milk to your coffee.

I watched someone add sugar to an ESPRESSO ( I copied your spelling) the other day.....like wtf ? i considered asking them to never to drink coffee again.

I hate coffee. And I've been known to ask at coffee shops if they have Liptons tea!

I know, I'm an uncouth grub!

Reading this thread makes me glad I don't drink coffee - life seems so much easier without it :)

Seriously... does any grown-up actually care what others think of their beverage or food choices?

Seriously.... You have to ask. Not in the real world but this triathlon where people suddenly rush out and buy compression socks cause somebody else has them, or Adamo saddles, or Newton shoes, or specialised bikes ........ Lol

So yes, people do care.

C'mon Mr Loompa.

The bloke at the Nespresso stand mentioned at least 3 times "We're a coffee company"

Another vote for the Rancilio Silvia paired with Rocky Grinder.

Was my 30th present. Makes really really good espresso with some freshly roasted beans brought locally. Also makes a good milky coffee although we don't have many of these at home.

Cleanup isn't really too much of an issue.

Liked beer so much I brewed my own.

Turns out I'm lazy and just like to drink beer.

Like coffee so much I bought a machine.

Taste buds are personal, life is short, drink what you enjoy.

Oh and on topic, I've had Aldi, Nespresso and Caffitaly pod machines.

There have been only two pods in the 10's of flavours I've tried that I enjoy.

But that's ok with me because I just drink the one I enjoy.

Ranchillo and Rocky seems to be the paring of choice for 15 plus years

Must say I don't (often) add sugar unless it's burnt. But every now and again one teaspoon of raw sugar put in, not stirred adds an interesting end to a doppio.

Happy ending ??

Cool, thanks for the tip. Last thing I'd want is to go off like a fire cracker and they are not cultured enough to understand, it'd just be a waste . Edited by Oompa Loompa

Phew... that's better. It's late in the afternoon and I just bought a large cappuccino, poured it into a full sugar-bowl, and sucked it all up through a few tim-tams.
