sold = WTS Syd - Zipp 808's 2 x Tubbies + Plus Conti Comp's +

Recommended Posts

So little use, its a waste to have them in the garage. Total kms less than 500... 300 more like it.

They are the year prior to Firecrest MODEL, ie still wide rims.

All use in races on good surfaces and none in wet.

I weigh sub 70kgs.

2010/11 Zipp 808

$900 with Zipp skewers

OR

$1,000 with near new Conti Comp Tubs and an Ultegra 11-23 or 25 cassette (Not sure need to check).

(50kms on tyres - just glued 2 months ago and Stans No Flats inside).

I live Nth beaches. Can take into Sydney CBD for a view. Can supply photos etc.

Will leave listing here a day or two then stick 'em on F'book E'bay etc

Still interested.

I'm working in town for the next two weeks, if that is convenient for you to meet up.

Cheers A

Tks. I have a stress fracture and it's hampering me getting into the garage and uncovering the wheels for photos. Can't put weight on one leg. Will try later today.

Can drive em into the CBD too. (At movies with kids now. One upside to being injured and not training ;).

Eeek. Don't try too hard on my account mate. In your own good time. If u don't work in town, I can probably mark it up to the northern beaches next weekend, or the weekend after. I'm definetly keen on these wheels, but I can wait ...

Osteopenia sucks but not so bad if you can get it under control. I was -1.9 and now -0.8 which is awesome, slowly improving (its taken approx 4 years). Rest up and make sure you on start line in Canadia....

Sorry. Been mixed up and stressed over stressie and associated medical issue ie some osteoporosis in some bones and some not so good news last week n a bit ie worse than original ostiopenia diagnosis.

I had decided to sell as I was using a disc on rear and happy with that set up

I'm planning to race in Canada including hilly Mont Tremblant 70.3. Aug/sept.

This week I was thinking with this stressie I'm not sure I can justify riding a disc or confident about dragging the heavier (?) weight vs 808 uphill.

So I'm in a bit of a bind. In truth I think there is a good chance I won't make Canada (Edmonton or the 70.3) and if that's the case I still want to sell. I see the dr Monday. Maybe I'll have a clearer idea then.

Sorry. In truth the above is playing on my mind and want to see the Dr to try and map out if I can still race tris / run even. Might be selling a lot if stuff :(

Yep. Today and I'll be skulking around town until the end of this week. I'm taking the wife on a long weekend into town from. Friday, so if not working, I'll be around. Call/text me on 0418418980.

FYI - from Next week I'm back out at parramatta for work, but I can probably come into town before work one day. The following Monday arvo I have to be in town for a skin specialist check up in the arvo ...

Cheers Andrew
