Quarq S975 GXP 172.5mm 130BCD 53/39

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I bought this to use on my TT bike when I was thinking of upgrading to DA 11 speed as the S975 version is 10 and 11 speed compatible.

I have changed my plans slightly so need to replace this with the Quarq SRAM Red version so it is also compatible with my roadie.

Thought I'd offer it here first before putting it on EBay. It's never been installed, comes with all manuals, magnets etc.

$1,400 ono posted anywhere in Australia.

Sorry mate, I don't understand why you can't use this one on your roadie?

It's not compatible with the Wilier frame / oversized bottom bracket.

Could you not just get some adaptors like you do when you switch the smaller cranks- non bb30 over to the oversized bottom brackets?

It's possible with an adapter to put a GXP crankset on a BB30 frame, but not the other way round. Personally I think you'd be better off with a BB30 crankset on a BB30 frame.

Quarq have a BB guide:

http://www.quarq.com/support/bottom-bracket

There is a 170mm Quarq BB30 for sale listed in tritrade. If 170mm is OK - can always make them an offer.

Sorry, didn't mean to steal Rog's thunder :-)

Steno, is still the higher bidder - but i just made it more expensive for him.

Then i thought i would see what he went to - now i am the highest bidder.

When do i get my cut?

I bumped it up and was ready to pay more when I realised;

1. I already have a quarq

2. I already cant afford the house Im planning to build

3. Mrs would have had my head on a platter if she found out I bought another power meter...

Its only a bargin Rog if you need it!

With a PT wheel and a SRAM Red quarq, I dont think I really needed it

But yes, someone got a bargin and if I was actually employed, I may well have bought it...
