Yeah, I'm hoping, but really don't have a lot of it.

Don't give up hope yet - Marvel is owned by Disney, rumour is Disney is not far off launching their own streaming service which will compete with Netflix.  I'd say it was probably Disney asking for a large price

Signed - the Optimist

I think if Disney can do streaming like Netflix it will be amazing.

But if they do it like ch9 and 7plus it will be the worst failure ever.

Disney have so many good shows and movies.

Id still like a sport streaming service. Not live but watch later. For example what formula one races in full the day after or nfl or league etc....

I've looked into it, not quite the sports that I want in full and is a bit limited - eg NBA games only 8 per week or something

Disney owns so many franchises now that they will have the 'nerd' market pretty much sewn up, really just need the rights to DC

I saw that site launched.

But seriously, how many games can people watch in one week.

For me it's not a question of how many, more of which ones.  I don't want to be watching 8 games a week of the calibre of Orlando vs Sacremento for example.  I also want to be able to watch my team, with max of 16 teams per week, means I'll only get to watch my team once every 2 weeks on average

Twd do mid season finales!  So the second half of the season will sit around March I guess.  Friggin annoying.  And friggin' annoyed with the finish!

Thought the finish was an improvement over the last 3 seasons mid and season end breaks - the last 3 episodes really breathed some new life into it

Feb 10 is the US date of the second half of the season returning

Yeah, it's a little better than it's been.  I've been tied of it.  Last two eps were good, but the finish of the last one crushed me.  The third last one was a bit like watching Joey from friends act out a dying scene.... took forever.

Watching sick note on Netflix. It’s got the actor who played Ron from Harry Potter and nick frost. Very dark British humour.

Just got up to date with TWD, serious return to form so far in season 9 after a couple of years of being very average. The storytelling, concentrating on the main characters, better sets and camera shots, all heaps better.

Interesting, didn't expect something like that.  With their stuff disappearing from Netflix locally, I wouldn't have thought it was because of a rival deal.  But maybe that's why.  Doubt I'll jump on there though.

Caught up with some very long time friends today that have been travelling Oz for a few months. They have ditched TV, Foxtel, Stan et al. They don't watch anything online except YouTube when they need to learn something they want to do (e.g. install electricals in a caravan).Very refreshing.

Last year I went 7 days without watching any TV or online. Open my eyes to a how much we rely on the "Gogglebox".

Give it a go sometime - 7 days - , you'll be amazed how much you get done.

This is what happens when millennial 'business people' don't realise that beyond a SM buzz, you actually have to deliver a product.

The level of stupidity and arrogance in this, is quite staggering.

It's a great watch.

Also not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread before but I've binged on HBO's "Succession" over the last couple of weeks and it is VERY good. Can't wait for season 2.

I have to come clean...I  watched married at first sight last night.

it is a freak show....and the funniest thing I have ever seen.  I can't believe how many girls have had boob jobs, botox, lip plumping,  and other surgeries and openly tell everyone.

You need to spend some time in Perth.

I was impressed by the amount of boob jobs and lips with filler or whatever they call it.

After watching MAFS last night, Stikman then backed up with watching Naked Attraction.

I was watching repeats of Lucifer last night; considering what else was on it didn't feel like a waste of my time.

Totally my choice.  Nothing I like more than an evening in viewing uncircumcised willies and ancient vag.

We've got Amazon prime for the next month (was cheaper for the Mrs to sign up for a month and get free shipping on something than pay for the shipping).  Anyone know if the Jack Ryan show is any good?

We'll have to get into nightflyers soon, once we finish travelers.

"Heal" on Netflix - a must see for anyone with chronic illness.

Supports what I've been thinking about the Western Medicine approach to chronic conditions, while at the same time being balanced and espousing the virtues of Western Medicine when it comes to acute conditions/trauma.

Started to watch 'The Mayans' on BBC iPlayer.  Produced by Kurt Sutter.  Seems pretty good but we'll see if it descends into the trap of two too many seasons, like SOA did.

I am really enjoying the second series of Star Trek Discovery. This weeks episode where they revisit a planet and events featured in the original Star Trek was fantastic.

You mean on twd?  Carol or Darryl is the new Rick.  Whichever one isn't, they will be the new Michonne, who's been absent lately.  Rick will turn up in 3 spinoff movies.  And that little blonde kid, he's the new Carl.

I'm a bit over it, but the Mrs still loves it.  And it's becoming one of the few shows we both like (kinda).
