Wife got me onto Downton Abbey - have to admit that I enjoy it...

The Voice - tho Delta gets my blood boiling.

I've been watching Bikie Wars - as a very young photographer I covered the massacre (remember the photo of the guy lying over his dead brother) so it's intriguing to see what was behind it (with a healthy dose of fiction I suspect).

We don't have Sky so don't see some of the latest pay stuff. But thankfully Sons of Anarchy goes straight to FTA here, which we enjoy.

We like Walking Dead, but listening to Andrew Lincoln with an American accent doesn't seem right!

I enjoy 'The Killing' (US version) because it is very slow burn, Mrs FP hates it for the same reason LOL.

On the non fiction side, I'll watch anything presented by Prof Brian Cox, I can just about keep up :shy:

Seriously I can't believe no one's mentioned Mad Men.

Possibly the best TV series ever made.

Hell on wheels is great.

If you like that then you will like Deadwood, assuming you haven't seen it already.

Some of the following have been mentioned but are worth a look.

Sherlock

Game of Thrones

Breaking Bad

Modern Family

Broadwalk Empire

Justified

Sons of Anarchy

Person of Interest

Some old ones that you might not have seen.

The Shield, The Wire, Sopranos,

I tried to watch The Wire but couldn't get into it (kept falling asleep and could never work out what was going on when I woke up)

So you watch a bit of TV then???

40-90m min most evenings with my wife when the kids are in bed(9pm ish). No ads and on our schedule as we don't get broad cast TV free or paid.

Less than half the average... My kids get less than 30min a day.

True blood season 5 ep 1 just popped into my world. Gonna be a happy time in the goughy household tonite!

I have to ask, who else is bugged by all these 12 episode season shows? It feels like you just start watching something and then suddenly it's over.

Walking Dead is great. Series 2 had some very slow episodes until the last two (finale on the farm). Andrew Lincoln got me into this series because I used to watch him in "Teachers". I think that they still show a few episodes on ABC2 late some nights????

I thought True Blood didn't start til this coming Sunday in Aus. Just finished season 1 of Spartacus last night. I loved it which is saying something considering all the blood and guts. A great final performance by Andy Whitfield. (fairly sure he only got the 1 season in before becoming ill)

Havent watched it yet, but I cant help but think the enjoyment will be spoilt by spotting mistakes in the set. I work around the corner from the Viking (now the Mill) and drive past each day. If they had of filmed it a few years ago it hadnt changed from the massacre days, but there is nothing left of the old pub now.

It is our work local pub and we used to have a few "functions" there, our works claim to "fame" was that we were banned from the pub, but the bikies were allowed back.

I don't watch much TV. This series has a few of the Underbelly cast. It's pretty easy to pick it to pieces if you want to. For instance the president doesn't normally ride at the front when they are riding in formation.

My four year old daughter won't allow us to miss Doctor Who. Other than that QI is the only "must not miss" show.
