Best kick-ass songs of all time

Recommended Posts

My old band used to cover this. We had to play it early in the set because the drummer didn't have the energy to play it later on!

Had a wild night seeing Motorhead at Wild Bill's Saloon in Banff back in '05.

Got one of Lemmy's bass picks, and a photo with Pepper Keenan. Discovered the joys (and pitfalls) of Jagermeister that night too.

I've seen The Cult 6 times and I'm pretty sure this is my favourite song from them. Very hard to find clips of this.

Hard to imagine any kick ass list being complete without these two:

When this is done we need to get a playlist together - CB and interesting indoor trainer set. :)

Sign of a "kick-ass song of all time" is when you still crank it to 11 after 20 years -:

Happy to have this voted off. But if you don't know it check it out for a bit of early female punk

Arrgghhhh! Nails on a blackboard for me. Both songs an immediate change of station, can't express how much I hate them

Not sure about 'all time' but this song never fails to raise some 'kick ass' feelings!

Ahhh, Wendy James......be still my beating heart :heartbeat:

Fark, feeling old now.......30 years since RAD came out. Still gets me excited to get on a bike & still the best opening & closing credits to a movie.

Anyways one Hell of a Track (pun intended) or two by Farnsey-:

Gwen, Suzie (baby animals) and Wendy, sensational.

Jack W can't go wrong.

But, that live version of let there be rock has to take the cake. Thank you for posting that link.

Absolutely agree Leon. The cheeky little bugger just had something I've not seen in any other frontman.

Recall when I was about 12 re-creating his parrot tat on my arm with a biro (I was a pretty decent drawer back then and it looked the goods). My friends mothers were horrified, thought my parents had let me get a tat.

Back In Black still rules for me. And I'm not even a particular ac/dc fan (don't dislike them either), but it is just king.
